“Lovely historic house just as l had hoped...ninteenth-century atnosphere, lovely well kept old wood floors..Linda was right there to greet me even though my time of arrival was delayed a little at Portland bus station... perfect Maine alternative to generic bland hotel chains. “Rooms in Portland proper were $600 per night, so we stayed here for $230 and drove the 4 miles to the old harbor. This is a new property. Clean. Spacious rooms. Comfortable. Excellent value on a Saturday night in a tourist area of the state. ”
