The Tern Inn seems to have something for everyone. There’s a swimming pool, bicycles, nearby beach, breakfast room with full breakfast included, lovely outdoor patio with plenty of seating, small private cottages, rooms in the Inn and rooms in a small carriage house. There was even a complementary wine happy hour. The rooms were really well stocked with toiletries, linens, snacks, etc and the whole property was beautifully landscaped and maintained.

Great stay in Carriage House 1. The room was sparkling clean and the grounds are gorgeous. The location is very convenient and easy parking. The owners are so friendly and it is very obvious they care a lot about the guest experience.

The Tern Inn was perfect for our 3-day stay in West Harwich! Friendly and helpful hosts, delicious breakfasts, bikes for guest use (but no helmets, so bring your own). Our room in one of the cottages was very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again!

I have to say I have never stayed at a B&B, but this one was amazing. John and Lisa have a wonderful place. Our room was very clean probably and they think of everything you might need. Breakfast was very tasty and they accommodate people with allergies. Thank you for making our first B&B experience so wonderful.

Outstanding Inn

There’s an endless choice of places to stay on Cape Cod, but I doubt there’s one as perfect as The Tern Inn. The location is mid cape, so everywhere you want to visit is never far away. John & Lisa were perfect hosts, always smiling, they clearly enjoy hosting at their beautiful property. Our room (in the Main Inn) was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. There are some lovely thoughtful touches, all day tea & coffee (including take out cups) & naughty but nice treat bowls in the lounge and bedrooms. The pool area was renovated this year with comfy loungers, Adirondack chairs and cabana towels supplied. Breakfast was amazing, hot ramekin dishes prepared each day with fresh sliced fruit and a great selection of breads, muffins & bagels. We would highly recommend you stay here. We will definitely “reTern”. Thank you John & Lisa for a great stay. Michael & Julie

Fall break in Cape Cod

John and Lisa August were wonderful hosts. It is centrally located on the Cape so that we were a short ride to the other towns. The accommodation was wonderful in a newly renovated room. Extremely comfortable bed with a very spacious dresser and closet for our clothes. We had a small fridge and microwave, coffee maker and multiple charging units to charge our phones/ iPad /kindles etc. Daily snacks in the bowl always available. Complete breakfast every morning that filled our tummies until an early dinner in town at wonderful restaurants. The grounds were nicely kept despite the construction area for a new pool. It is a very relaxing area for afternoon reading after touring in the morning and afternoon. The bathroom is nicely decorated with a lovely shower. We decided to stay in the location for 4 days rather than moving from Provincetown to Sandwich. 10 minute walk to the beach and Oct was a wonderful time to visit the area after the tourists went home. You will be pleasantly surprised how lovely this facility is .

Lovely B&B

Lovely B&B. The hosts were welcoming and very sweet. The building is beautiful and spacious, and my room was lovely. If only there were ceiling fans, the room would have been perfect.
