「The place was cooled before I arrived with an air conditioning unit making it a nice welcome. The host was communicative and hospitable. They left more than enough towels, pillows, blankets. I super appreciated how clean everything was and it smelled good which made them comfortable to use and sleep in the bed.」

「Easy check in instructions. Nice clean place. Perfect for a get away night to see a show at the college street music hall」

「Very old house, but clean, cozy and nice location for visiting Yale.」

「The location was where I wanted to be and the apartment had been updated. However, my one-night stay here wasn't a smooth experience as I didn't receive all the check-in information with the check-in email, so I had to scramble with poor service to find a number. Thankfully, the host was quick to respond. When I dried my hands with the towels, they came away with long blonde hairs, which made me nervous to trust the cleanliness. The bed was way too soft for my preference and left me with a sore...

「Positives: the place was clean, and generally well appointed. Felt comfortably large for a studio apartment. The bathroom had been updated with marble floor and wall tiles and new fixtures. New fridge, small microwave and an old gas stove. It was warm but we could open the windows. We found several good places to eat within easy walking distance. Cons: Beware - This is a FOURTH FLOOR WALK UP! It was a bear to get our large luggage up all those stairs! Other small stuff: no washcloths, only...

「I had issues with getting codes, which I managed, but NO COMMUNICATION!! there was no direct help number that would have quickly resolved stressful situation For that a poor rating - otherwise good room and location it would greatly help to have a live contact also I planned one day to walk around New have, but you wouldn't let me leave my bag!! I can see not checking in but for the cost of the night the curtesy to leave a small carry on in a closet is not too much to expect」

「The apartment was adequate - the listing, however, is misleading in regard to having a washer and dryer, which are not in the rental. I also think that if the renter is paying a cleaning fee (which we were and which was higher than the nightly rental rate), we shouldn't be asked to strip the beds and to take out the trash, which we were asked to do repeatedly in messages from the host. Overall, not a great experience.」

「Property owner takes great care of the place. Instructions were easy to follow and the location was right down the road from the places we were going to. We would rent again if we ever come back to New Haven」

「AVOID! I arrived on Sep 25 for a 2-night stay on a cold and rainy night. The entry code did not work and it took 2 hours to get the right one. Within 30 minutes, one curtain rod collapsed and the alarm began beeping every minute to indicate a low battery. After communicating repeatedly with the host, she said she could not fix anything until the following day. Due to the fire alarm chirping every minute, I left and got a hotel. I asked for a refund, but the host refused. Then, on Sep 29, the...

「This place was very clean and Michael was great, answering all my questions quickly. check in was simple just a code to get in it was very updated and the beds were very comfortable. It was close to Yale and to some great pizza places」

「We stayed with two other couples for a local wedding nearby. This place is a lot larger than what the pictures capture! Comfortable beds in three private rooms were perfect for us! Easy check-in and check-out procedures. Plenty of street parking. We enjoyed our stay!」
