Very clean. Unique decor. Great location near restaurants, beaches and harbor to catch ferries to Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket. Free use of bikes was nice too.

Betten waren sehr bequem und Zimmer hübsch eingerichtet. Leider mussten wir den Zimmerservice täglich daran erinnern Kaffee & Duschgel nachzufüllen. Schade war auch dass für einen früheren Check in (1 Stunde vorher) nochmal 30 USD berechnet werden obwohl das Hotel komplett leer war. Wir waren mit einem schlafenden Neugeborenen dort. Sonst war die Anlage noch nicht fertiggestellt aber können es uns sehr gut vorstellen wenn das Café & Restaurant öffnet. Die beiden Pools waren super.

So clean and gorgeous rooms and property. Heated pool was amazing for early fall and the bonfires were so fun. Perfect location to get to West Yarmouth Favorites , and 4 minutes away from Hyannis Mainstreet. Already have our next trip booked

The atmosphere of the room and front desk area was wonderful. The staff at the desk were professional and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back!

Newly renovated facility- beautifully decorated- interaction with staff was great. Best hotel pool I have ever experienced. Outdoor fireplaces are a nice touch!

We had an amazing stay at the Uncommoner. The staff were attentive and friendly. The room was very comfortable, my only complaint was the pillows were not very comfortable. Other than that the property and room were kept really well. I enjoyed a nice swim in the indoor pool. It was also conveniently close to everything! Will come again.

This is a great hotel/motel escape from corporate hotels. Two pools (one indoor), up against a river and near the beach. Great staff. Huge parking lot that can accommodate motorhomes or trucks. Only downside is the highway in front of the hotel is loud (but not very noticeable inside the room). Ask for a room in the back end of the property and you have lots of peace and quiet. Good for families. Not many activities in the area but a short drive to much and a great home base.

Het hotel is nog volop in renovatie en daardoor erg proper. De inrichting is echt wel leuk gedaan, met thema’s en gewoon veel smaak en persoonlijkheid. Toen wij er waren (september 2025) was echter het restaurant nog niet af, wat ons op voorhand niet verteld was. Ook in hun communicatie online en offline spreken ze al over een bar en restaurant, hoewel dat volgens de receptioniste pas volgend zomerseizoen af zijn. Dat was voor ons wel een domper (en voelde wel wat bekocht aan), aangezien je voor elke maaltijd dan wel afhankelijk bent van andere opties. We kregen een lijst mee van eetadresjes, maar die lagen niet op wandelafstand. Het hebben van een auto is dus echt wel nuttig. Het binnen- én buitenzwembad zijn top, leuk ingericht ook! Ook de fietsen die gratis ter beschikking staan van de gasten zijn een plus, net als de leuke gekleurde strandstoelen aan het water. Het hotel ligt op slechts 5 à 10 minuten met de wagen van de luchthaven, wat ideaal is voor bijvoorbeeld vluchten richting Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket of Boston. Van aan de haven ligt het dan wel weer ietsje verder af. Maar al bij al leuk verblijf gehad. Eens het hotel helemaal af zal zijn, wordt het vast een echte parel!

The property has been recently renovated, so the rooms and property are quite nice. The outdoor pool is not heated. Towels are inconsistently stocked in both the outdoor and indoor pool areas. The property's hot water was completely inoperable for nearly 24 hours of our stay, and the front desk's (which is only staffed until 10PM) only solution was to offer a change of room (to another room without functional hot water). For ~$500/night, I have bare minimum requirements of being able to take a hot shower after freezing in your pool. The air conditioning units are also non-sensically in the (very small) bathroom area, leaving the main sleeping area poorly cooled - I can see it being quite uncomfortable during the height of summer. I cannot see myself ever booking at this property again in the future.

We just stayed this weekend. This hotel is ADORABLE. It’s decorated so well, it’s spotless, the staff is super friendly. The pools are gorgeous, the fire pits are cozy and there’s a beautiful marsh area to sit in the morning and watch the birds. I can’t wait to go again when the restaurants are open.

We loved everything about our stay (voyageur). The check-in was welcoming and easy (with friendly staff and fun shoppe). The rooms are themed and had just been renovated. They are lovely. The hard wired rotary phone phone actually worked ( not just for show , the detailing in each room was so well done). We even had a large group in the rooms next to us and could not hear them until we went out! The pool is fantastic, it is off the main road and feels private and luxurious. There are fire pit and cornhole games on the grounds, just really a lovely time away. Family friendly, couple friendly and good time all around. The gift shop had unique gifts. We will definitely be staying there again!

We ended up at the Uncommoner after our VRBO was a disaster. The hotel is absolutely wonderful and uniquely designed/recently remodeled. Very well thought out and great staff! Kids loved both the indoor and outdoor pool. I loved all of the design aspects. Nearby mini golf, coffee shop, and ice cream.

Design and renovation of rooms and lobby are overall spectacular. Design and interiors are amazing. The parking area is in need of repair. The roadways and parking areas are very old and irregular. The stairs and decking should be replaced. Cafe and restaurant are not open yet. Music is too loud and played into evening. Pillows and bedding are not what they should be given the quality of interior spaces. Could be a timing issue.
