Daniels cooking was superb & under not the easiest of conditions.We felt very close to nature here.Having booked through Expedia we had no tour operators & so did all our liaison with the lodge re transfer from Kisoro air strip & back, Gorilla permits, village tours etc. Joan we will never forget you & your beautiful family.My wife cried with emotion when she saw the Gorillas. 「One of the top hotels in Kabale. The service given by the staff is outstanding, even by Uganda’s high standards. Good range of food on offer in the dining hall, and a great breakfast included in the price. Hotel is becoming a bit dated, but they are now in the process of updating and modernising the hotel. Best experience was walking out of the restaurant after dinner and seeing an elephant standing in the middle of the path. 10/10 would recommend!」

「The bungalow was nice, spacious, especially the terrace overlooking the mountain forest was beautiful. The food was good and we also appreciated a good bottle of wine with dinner. It also has the advantage of being just minutes from the main gate to the national park (Rushaga Gate). The place is harder to find though, more signage would be appreciated. 」

I could barely lock my room, no working tv, lights in bathroom did not work, curtains falling out of wall. Everyone of these issues was brought to management the first three days and nothing was done. I stopped complaining.
