“The room was pristine and so well-decorated, personal, warm, relaxing. The staff cannot do enough for you. Be prepared for a knockout breakfast (we learned a secret to those airy scrambled eggs, a dollop of sour cream). The dining room is completely windowed so the farm is always visible. “Beautiful historic building. No elevator. Staff assisted with luggage if needed. Quiet setting with some street noise. Good water pressure in our 3rdfloor room.
I couldn't open my email from Expedia, so we went in without the usual helpful/ needed information. If you want a hot breakfast, you must book it at least 24 hr in advance. Continental breakfast was sufficient.

“This property is a gem for history enthusiasts. It contains a museum of artifacts discovered during renovations and is decorated to match the period it was built in. It is modern and clean however, with modern comforts like new outlets on each side of the bed and at both vanities in the bathroom. The staff were incredible.
