The Space:

Step inside The Weston Log House and settle into a classic Vermont setting defined by warm log walls, cathedral ceilings, and an oversized stone fireplace. The great room is made for gathering, with floor-to-ceiling windows bringing the surrounding woods indoors and sliding glass doors opening directly onto the deck.



The well-equipped kitchen features a breakfast bar with seating, creating an easy place to gather before heading out for the day. A loft above the main living area offers a cozy secondary space for board games, puzzles, or a quiet moment away from the group.



Five bedrooms are spread across three floors, comfortably accommodating up to 12 guests while giving everyone room to settle in.



Outside, the spacious deck provides a natural extension of the living space, with outdoor dining and a gas grill for relaxed meals surrounded by the woods. As evening falls, gather around the fire pit on the back lawn and take in the quiet of the Vermont landscape.

The Neighborhood:

Set in Weston, one of Southern Vermont's most picturesque villages, The Weston Log House offers a peaceful woodland setting with easy access to local culture, dining, and mountain recreation.



The village is home to The Vermont Country Store and Weston Playhouse Theatre, while nearby trails such as the Greendale Loop offer opportunities to explore the surrounding landscape. In winter, Okemo Mountain Resort is approximately 15 minutes away for skiing and snowboarding. During warmer months, the Green Mountains provide opportunities for hiking and fishing, while Ludlow and Londonderry offer additional dining, shopping, and local experiences.



Getting Around:

Vehicle is recommended, with 4x4 or AWD in the winter.



Other Things to Note:

Wildlife: This is a home in a rural part of the country. You may see wildlife including deer, coyotes, foxes, and bears. Please be mindful of your surroundings and leaving out food and trash.



Weather: The home is located on a dirt road. During mud season, typically March through April, the road may be muddy or rutted. We recommend driving with care and having a vehicle with adequate clearance during this time. In winter, AWD or 4WD is strongly recommended.



Power & Internet: This is a rural part of the country. You may lose power or internet during inclement weather. We do not issue refunds for loss of power or internet out of our control.



Pets: We're happy to welcome your pup to the home. There's a $150 fee + tax for the first dog and $50 + tax for a second one. We welcome up to 2 dogs, each at least one year of age. If you're planning to bring more than one, please reach out to us before completing your booking so we can get everything set up for you. For everyone's comfort, we kindly ask that dogs stay leashed outdoors and that you clean up after them. Please note that cats aren't permitted due to allergy concerns. Any pet-related damages may result in additional charges.



Maximum occupancy: Please mind that this house can host a maximum of 12 guests per fire code. As per the fire department, infants are included in that number. Therefore, any infants included in the booking above maximum occupancy of 12 would unfortunately result in the reservation being cancelled.



Cancellation Policy: We cannot make any exceptions to our cancellation policy. Please consider traveler’s insurance.
