You could walk to town in approximately 25-30 minutes; however, it’s quite hilly and there aren’t walking paths initially. Friendly and fast communication with the host. 「Taking a short break in Mayo, following a wedding. Wonderful peaceful location, superb Irish breakfast. Friendly, charming, helpful and informative host. Wifi available, but no TV in room which didn't worry us in the slightest - just encouraged us to switch off. Easy reach of Westport and Newport, but extensive roadworks and contraflow on the road into Westport were a minor inconvenience. Finding a table at a restaurant for dinner locally can be challenging notwithstanding plethora of...

「We had a fantastic stay for New Year’s Eve. House caters for large numbers. All rooms are spacious & furnished to an extremely high-level. Fantastic coastal views from the kitchen & main living room areas. Local taxi-service organised at short notice when required. Could not recommend highly enough.」

「Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....
