Overall it was a great stay the only bummer upon arrival was the cleanliness could have been a little better. There was old coffee in the coffee pot and coffee grounds. And spider webs in the corners of the ceiling in the master bedrooms.

We loved staying at your cabin and our dog loved it even more. More dogs than people at the property. We fished and boated and walked to dinner and the market just like our lovely hosts told us. It was seem-less and perfect. Thank you for allowing us in your beautiful cabin!! We will be back. Karen and Clint thank you.

This is a great cabin, close to the lake and marina. The owners are so helpful. They directed us to a beautiful and paved bicycle trail next to the lake. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back!

Great Location & Setting!

The check-in was so efficient, exactly as described in the listing. The cabin is light & bright and laid out well. The 4 of us used the kitchen table for playing card games at night and it wasn’t cramped. The living room area was comfortable with the sofa and 2 easy chairs.

This was our first time visiting Lake Almanor and this property. We had a fantastic time and we will be coming back again. We were very grateful for how family friendly the accomendations were. Summer Lake Trip

This cabin was perfect for our family of five. It was our first lake trip with our kids and it was so wonderful to wake up and have the view of the lake from the kitchen and a large deck to hang out, eat and watch the sunset. We enjoyed the convenience of being so close to knotty pine boat rentals and having our own personal dock to pull up to if you have your own boat or if you need to refuel on snacks while in your rented boat. There’s a grassy area to play with your fur baby as well. Coffee and convenience store are just across the street and there are many great restaurants in the area. Highly recommend this spot.

Getaway to Lake Almanor

The location was great! We brought the kids last minute, so it was nice to have the market close by. It would have been nice ro have some sandwich baggies and tin foil on hand, but we made it by without.The hosts we great! They were around when we got there, and even offered to unload our things!We came for a relaxing fishing trip, but having a couple of 12 year old girls come along changed all of that. Lol.We were able to take a short walk to Knotty Pines marina and rent a boat for the day.We all had a blast oit on the lake!

Perfect again

This place and this unit are great. Awesome view of Big Cove from the deck and great access to the water with private dock and launch. This is my 4th time renting from Karen and Clint and they are super responsive and available if needed. They have updated the internet to super fast satellite service for those that want to go online or stream a movie. Fishing was incredible with 28 catch and release trout in 3 days for two people. Can’t wait to come back and sorry to go home is the story every time!

Cozy Getaway

Sincerely enjoyed our time here. Cabin was adequately stocked and the beds were comfortable. A great dock for the boat and a private launch. Perfect for a boating trip. The fishing’s was great. Karen was very nice and responsive. Can confidently recommend this place to anyone.
