「This property worked well with our family group of 10. We had 5 adults; 4 teens and 1 10-year-old. 3 bedrooms for the adults; the media room with flexible futons for the teen girls; and another room with futons for the 2 guys (1 teen and 1 10-yr-old). 「Our stay at Black Cabin was great! It’s in a very quiet location and has an awesome back deck and fire pit. We really appreciated all of the amenities that Eddi included; we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a hotel room this may not be the right choice for you. But if you’re looking for a quiet cabin like location that is close to all Valparaiso has to offer, I think you’d like this spot as much as we did. 「Came to the area to visit family and decided to try this cabin in lieu of a hotel room. Best choice ever! This cabin far exceeds any hotel in the Monticello area. It was just as described. Clean, well furnished and perfectly comfortable. Location was great; 10 minutes from the Kroger and Walmart. Lake view was nice and the deck was perfect for early mornings and evening for relaxing. Very quiet area of the lake. The sunroom was also perfect for when the weather was not suited for being outside....

「Loved everything about this Bass Lake home! Valarie was extremely responsive to my messages. I can't describe how much I enjoyed sitting on the porch and admiring the water. Well, the golf cart was a lot of fun too! We stayed with our 2 adult sons and were able to rent a pontoon our last day, their favorite part! It was a beautiful, relaxing week with great weather and time spent together. We're definitely looking forward to coming back! Thanks again, Val!!!」

「The area was super quiet and pitch black at night. The tent was cute and perfect size. We however did not end up staying. It was super smokey, when I opened the stove to add wood even more smoke poured from it. Being from eastern Kentucky those are what we had and they shouldn't do that, so I'm thinking the pipe was getting clogged. If not for that it would have been super cozy.」

「First and foremost Dan was an amazing host who was very hospitable and was just next door if we ever needed anything. The property was as described in the listing and worked out very well for our party of five adults. Everything was ready for us as we arrived and there were even some welcome snacks on the kitchen island counter.
