“Our experience at Omstead’s on Erie was amazing, my friend, daughter and I are still talking about it. First off, the home was so well decorated, every carefully selected item has a story and the stories were amazing, all this with a great view of Lake Erie. Margo and Keith are great hosts, they provided us with many great local recommendations for dinner and Margo treated us to locally sourced fancy breakfasts. We will definitely be going back!”

“Convenient location. Easy check in. Staff lives on site and was very helpful. Historic building nicely restored. High ceilings in all rooms. Tiled en suite shower and toilet. Good water pressure. Sink in bedroom. One side table (two would have been nice) next to king bed, chest of drawers. Modern shared kitchen with original pine floors, large fridge and large freezer, dishwasher, toaster, Keurig coffee machine, etc. Large dining room and two sitting rooms with large-screen TV.”

“Perfect for what I wanted and the owner and staff were very responsive. I didn’t see any climate control in the room and that maybe because the climate is controlled centrally. The room temp was perfect so I didn’t have cause to seek out climate control.”

“The staff were friendly and allowed us to check in early which we really appreciated. The room was clean outside of the fridge which needed a very thorough scrubbing. No issues with the shower or bathroom in general. The pillows were thin. Heating and cooling worked well. A pleasant stay overall.”
