“We found the cabin to be clean and the beds comfortable. The communication from the owners was excellent and the keys were right where they said that they would be. There was a nice looking fireplace, but we could not take advantage of it as we did not bring anything to start a fire. But it is a nice amenity to have. I am sensitive to noise, the front desk manager met my concern promptly and moved us to a quiet room at the end of the corridor. “Our stay was incredible. We were met by Kim when we arrived to check in and she was amazing. We upgraded our room, got extremely helpful advice and tips. We loved loved loved the warm chocolate chip cookies and had a great chat after supper sitting by the fire in the lounge. Kim gave us great information about the hotel and its family history, as well as some fun stories about hosting the hockey kids who come to play in town.
