“The property was exactly like listed. And even more beautifully decorated than the photos.”

“Very cozy”

“The property was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The only recommendation that I have is that it needs more cleaning products. For example, there was no soap for the bathroom sinks, only 1 packet for dishwasher detergent (hardly sufficient for a 3-night stay), and a very small bottle of dish detergent. ”

“Absoloutely top tier chateau. Breathtaking. The sunrise and sunsests are to die for. The cleaning service who services this house does a FANTASTIC JOB. They supply everything you need for 2 people during a weekend stay. From towels to toiletries. MAKE SURE TO HAVE AWD. Very steep terain especially when wet. When it says secluded it means secluded. No city noise or even neighbors you could hear. Stars galore almost so clear you can see the milky way. Even during summer the hot tub was amazing in……

“We had a lovely time on the lake. The house was clean and spacious and we had everything we needed to enjoy our little nook of Lake Lure - pool noodles, canoe, and several kayaks made it easy to jump right in! Kitchen was well stocked for meals and Chimney Rock was an easy 10m drive away.”

“Absolutely charming and very well equipped small home. A lot of small amenities to make it welcoming. Didn't realize it had steps, that was our fault for not checking. We found the registration process to be confusing trying to do it through Expedia as it was a vbro. The owner went out of her way to be helpful.”

“The host was very responsive to our questions. The place had everything we needed to cook meals. The enclosed porch was nice to sit on while listening to the rain. Would definitely recommend this place.”

“This cabin is in a perfect location, with stunning a long views and an outdoor hot tub. The pros include wide open floor plan, great shower, plenty of linens and easy to use entertainment. The cons are the whole place feels a little bit shabby, with all the woodwork caulked but not finished, lots of stinkbugs inside, and poorly equipped, mis-matched kitchen gear. Foot plate on the stove had fallen off. There was firewood for the fire but no working lighter. Just little stuff. I would……

“extremely peaceful location and super cozy along with amazing kitchen appliances updated bathroom. I felt like I was at a high-end hotel.”

“We stayed at Cedar Ridge to attend a wedding at Serenity Ridge which was about 5 minutes away. Cedar Ridge was also close to everything we needed or wanted to do. (5 minutes-grocery store; 15-25 minutes to restaurants, state park, shops, Lake Travis, Chimney Rock, etc.) The home is lovely! Clean, well-cared for and there wasn't anything we needed that wasn't provided. It was fun to find some cute little touches - a turtle-crossing rock, tiny shoes by the car port, and fun black bear decor……

“The place was very comfortable and clean. Highly Recommend for a small group of friends or a travel of 2. Loved everything about it. Definitely check this place out!”

“Very relaxing. Loved the bee sanctuary”

“Great views from back deck and a great location. Close to everything. Look forward to going back.”

“Beautiful house, great location, great host!”

“Home away from home”

“CARL WAS AN EXCELLENT HOST. THE CABIN IS AMAZING. ALL THE AMENITIES YOU WILL EVER NEED FOR YOUR STAY. CARL WAS THERE ANY TIME WE NEEDED HIM. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CABIN. THE SCHUMPERT'S”

“The Loft is truly a hidden gem close to town!!! Unfortunately, our stay was too short, but we will definitely be back. Lee has thought of every convenience, what a great host. He left us snacks, water, sodas, and toiletries. We loved his amazing decor with twinkle lights and a glowing fireplace, he has created a perfect ambience.”
