About this space

Johnny B lived his best life from the 70’s-90’s. Our mid-century bungalow will transport you back to the good ‘ole days. We’ve skipped the plastic covered couch in place of designer furnishings. Classic, vintage treasures iconic to the 80’s found throughout the home will have you repeating REMEMBER THIS?

This home is great for a girls getaway, families, a romantic weekend staycation or even for a cozy workspace.
The space
With the exception of the original shiplap walls & floors, everything is new in this 1950’s bungalow. Each item has been hand selected for your comfort, convenience & enjoyment. The primary bedroom includes a luxury mattress & layered bedding, and a walk-in closet . The second bedroom has two full sized beds, a desk & closet. The kitchen is fully stocked for making a home cooked meal, and the private backyard provides a safe space for pets and kiddos to run around.

Lori’s place is the best and would recommend anyone stay here. We stayed for a month and it became a home away from home immediately. The place is super cozy and welcoming, the kids and dogs loved the yard, and we were super close to downtown which was awesome! And Lori was an amazing host and super sweet - hopefully we will be back!

House was adorable and brought back wonderful childhood memories. Proximity to historic downtown McKinney was amazing and what a fun place to visit! The owner thought of all the details including a nice book about the property history. I will stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Lori was an incredible host, always checking on us to make sure all was well with her property and with us. The retro bungalow is one of the best rentals we’ve stayed in. It was spectacularly clean with anything and everything we could possibly need. The a/c was vital and worked well and all the special themed touches made our stay fun and comfortable!

So Cute!

We loved this house - it was so cute with its retro touches. Super clean, everything was easy to find/use, and communication with the owner was great. Not far from downtown McKinney which was great. I’d definitely recommend staying here!

So fun!

This place spoke to me-I loved the theme of the house. Such a truly fun place to stay! We enjoyed being a mile from downtown McKinney, which is full of great restaurants, shopping, and things to do. We enjoyed the backyard with our dogs, grilling, and relaxing under the tree. Lori paid perfect attention to detail with all of the touches in the home. Everything was clean, convenient, and homey. I would love to visit again with my girlfriends! 10/10
