「Big picture - this house is probably top 10 of all the houses we’ve been to and that’s saying a lot. Great bedrooms with ensuites and a massive kitchen area for cooking and hanging out. However, it could use some TLC in the cleaning department (indoors and out) as well as some attention to details to really make it shine. Arrival - there are wires where the doorbell should be and the keypad is a first-gen 10-digit code that requires code for entry and exit; also, the back door was wide open...

「We fell in love with this property from the moment we opened the doors. It was perfect for our family. We were supposed to go fishing, but mother nature reared her head and it rained. The lodge was amazing with so much space and areas to relax. There was room for all of us to play games together or break off for pool, shuffle board or ping pong. The covered areas outside were a real blessing with the rain we had. We will definitely be returning, and hopefully for longer than a weekend!」

「Family of 10 including spouses and grandkids - more than enough room, didn't even use one bedroom! Beautiful 3 level house with a country comfy feel and ample outdoor areas to relax at. Slight issue with A/C but host stayed in contact trying to alleviate. Even my 30+ yr old "city girl" daughter loved Moontown & it's country charm!」

「If you're like me when planning where to stay while traveling, I'm looking for something very affordable that's still nice, clean, comfortable and safe. Competition is tough so finding the right place can be like rolling the dice. Lindley's Little Gem exceeded my expectations! Cleanliness is very important to me. I'd give this a 10 out of 10! Although this is a small one-bedroom, one-bath older home (cottage), it has a large bathroom with a deep soaking tub, big walk-in shower, good thick towels...

「We very much enjoyed our stay of 2 nights. My 86 mother and I wanted to fish and this rental had easy access to a wonderful dock. Everything we needed was provided and more. The bedrooms are nice, 2 king beds a plus. The only missing upgrade would be in the bathroom in the front of the home. The shower is old and showerhead was way too short for anyone over 5’9. I did not go in the other bathroom so can’t speak to that one.」

「We had a short trip to The Silos, Magnolia Market and Magnolia Table . The house is very close to all theses and Baylor University as well. The house is beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of towels, fans for each bedroom and kitchen supplies. The check out procedure was simple. We would definitely stay here again.」

「This was an annual sibling trip along with spouses - had a wonderful time! This house reminded us of our growing up in an older home on Tres Palacios Bay. This house has been beautifully restored by Fixer Upper. We especially enjoyed the front porch and were amused when a wine tour bus stopped for about 5 minutes as the house was on their tour route. The location is excellent and very convenient to the fine restaurants we dined at.」
