「All I wanted was a safe and dry place for one night on the way to Melbourne for me and my dog Sooty. Unexpectedly, I came across this beautiful haven with such lovely people hosting! I arrived late-ish and it was freezing cold. A big bowl of soup plus toast magically appeared; a life saver! 「Lovely cottage just what we were expecting. Plumbing needs looking at in bathrooms as water ponds and very slow running away. Cottage interior nicely renovated with quality fittings. My only criticism being the exterior garden and grounds being very untidy requires a good clean up .」

「At the end of a 2km dirt road you’ll find this expansive property with modest (extremely comfortable) properties (miners cabins.) Our property had 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, very compact, comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy, the bathroom was quite small, but our hosts had provided all the special touches. The highlight was what the sanctuary was all about…. they are an active rescue sanctuary for a wide range of animals....
