Check in at 4:00 there was only one staff member at front desk with five families waiting to check in. Went to breakfast early and Breakfast was very busy only one staff member working. Both coffee pots were empty. Hot foods ran out several times. Yet three employees were behind the front desk talking.

The room was clean!! That’s a 5 star. The night staff was less than friendly. The room only had a light shade. No curtains or heavy shade to block out the light. Wife had difficulty getting to sleep with the light from the street lamps. Morning light woke us both up it was so bright.

We wanted a hotel close to the Tanganyika Wildlife Park and this Hampton Inn fit the bill. The hotel lobby was clean and inviting. The desk clerk who checked us in late at night (sorry, none of them had name tags!) was very conscientious. I mentioned that we had two separate reservations for consecutive nights and he ensured the morning crew knew that, so we didn't have to change rooms. The room itself was very clean, as were the towels and bed linens. We stayed in a room at the end of the hall, so it was peacefully quiet. The breakfast room crew was on the ball, keeping everything replenished as people arrived and the eating area neat and tidy. Overall, this was a great experience!

We were eo excited to get a great price. We visit the area often and have been wanting to try this place out! It didnt start out great. We were very tired when we arrived. We had just gotten all unpacked, comfortable and ready for bed when we realized that the thermostat wasnt working. So we had to pack everything back up and change rooms. The next morning we got up early to workout. We were excited to be able tomise the Genesis gym that is attached to the hotel. It was supposed to open at 5. We went down at 5:30 and the doors weren't open. We had to walk all the way around to the main doors of the gym in the cold. The gym was very nice and not busy at all! Then we went to breakfast. We were very disappointed in breakfast. There were bery few options. There was oatmeal but no toppings, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, cereal and bread and bagels. It would have been nice to have some yogurt and some better fruit options. Overall the stay was good and we would stay here again.

There was absolutely nothing for breakfast. Every juice was empty, no eggs, no potatoes. Just sausage and a pitcher of ice water and some croissants. The lady just kept saying that no one made a reorder for the breakfast stuff which shouldn’t be said to guests in my opinion. She didn’t seem to care that this is an important part of a person’s stay. They should’ve gone to the store for breakfast items or something. The housekeeping staff however were EXTREMELY hardworking and so kind and helpful!! That must be such a backbreaking job and they deserve a big pat on the back.

Our stay was just for one night, hotel room was nice and no complaints, our breakfast was disappointing. The young lady working was not helpful; no coffee cups, no spoons or knives, only one or two muffins and bagels, no toast at all. Sausage, eggs and potatoes but another container looking like a spot for biscuits and gravy but nothing in there. Trash cans (3) around breakfast area were all over flowing and she didn’t greet anyone and was not courteous to guests getting food, was in the way, etc

This was the best location for my family while we were in town for a softball tournament. The waterpark and arcade kept the entire team entertained while we were in a rain delay. The staff was extremely accommodating and allowed us to use the lobby area for a team meal. Everything is extremely clean. We would 10/10 recommend and stay here again.
