We are so sorry about your stay Donna however we have to verify the payment that means if the credit card is under someone else's name we need a credit auth form filled out if the person is not able to verify in person. We understand that it is frustrating at times but we have to follow our protocols to ensure we are not charging fraudulent credit cards. Its not fair to the hotel front desk agent when the guest just walks out cause they can't wait to get the Credit Card verified

Comfortable stay
Everything was very nice.Man who checked us in was very personable.Rooms are clean ,everything worked.Lobby is not heated as well as rooms so breakfast was very good but have to eat fast.Was a very cold day. Overall would do it again.

Started off rocky but then redemption....
I will be honest. We got in an hour before check in time because of the time zone change in our travels that we miscalculated and I went in to ask if by chance we could check in early as it looked fairly empty, not busy. The man behind the counter at 3pm was less than welcoming. Looked up at me and said "What?"with kind of an attitude. Not hello or welcome and then told me come back at check in time which was 4pm. I took my family around town for an hour and a half and went back reluctantly because of the not so friendly experience earlier and when I went back, there was a very friendly welcoming gentleman that was just starting his shift. If it wasn't for him and the other friendly gentlemen that took over and checked us out in the morning, I would have tore up this review. I get good help is hard to come by but 1 out of 3 that we faced should not be in that position at the front desk for your establishment. Our stay after the first impression experience was great. Clean rooms, friendly employees, and nice pool, in a quieter part of town.

Beds comfortable. Only spent one night and didn’t use the pool or gym. Breakfast was so so. Maybe I wasn’t that hungry. Had waffles, hard boiled eggs, fruit cups, etc. The property was well maintained and staff friendly.

I could have added so much more to my review, but out of respect for your business, I didn’t. Your reply is so hateful! My kids were with me or my husband at all times. While I was checking in, “they roamed freely,” but I was right there. They touched the waffle maker, it most definitely never dropped. Your rules are yours, I respect that and appreciated you letting those children come swim (I had to pay a steep price) but since when does a hotel not allow visitors? Most people staying in a hotel are from out of town and if visiting family/friends gather together in the lobby of where they are staying (both guests and outside residences). Not allowing residences to come into your business because they aren’t staying there needs to be an area you should address (as well as not allowing outsiders to swim). The previous owners were clearly more relaxed and ran a business that was family-friendly. We were none disrespectful to your staff or facility. We left every area we were in just how we found it. We were kind to all the others staying in the hotel and your evening desk staff. Your husband was rude! Raising his voice at my kids who were just eager to arrive was disrespectful. He came across as very unhappy as I watched him interacted (or lack there of) with others. I’m just trying to address an issue I had in hopes that it won’t happen to someone else. Being kind goes a long way! Lastly, we are locals. And after touching base with the Hesston Chamber of Commerce who

We are sorry to hear Ms. Neufeld. However we are not going to tolerate rude and entitled guests that don't want to obey and respect the hotel policies. We are sorry that it was more relaxed in the past however we have to adapt to current business climate and when we have guests that are unable to abide by the hotel policies by tampering with the waffle machine and breakfast equipment. Running around without any adult supervision. Wanting to use the hotel like its your playground when you don't even have rooms at the hotel is unacceptable. We will not be accepting you at this property anymore even if you are locals doesn't mean that you are above the hotel policies.

Hotel looked nice. Staff was friendly and room was nice. I thought the swimming pool was cold but it didn't stop the kids from swimming (we also only went after dark). Hot tub was amazing. Nice selection for breakfast.

Very clean and affordable hotel. I typically stay at more expensive hotels, but I was very happy and pleasantly surprised at Rodeway Inn. I found the quality and cleanliness of the lobby, rooms, and beds to be very similar to more expensive hotels I have stayed in. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'd stay here again.

The staff was more than helpful with 24hr observation, answered all our questions no matter how many times my kids asked. clean pool, clean rooms, beautiful swimming, and hot tub area, with pool table. We were 3 hours away so this is why we made this reservation but the family we were going to visit got Covid so we couldn’t go so do you think we could cancel and get our money back or a credit, absolutely not. People were extremely rude as they promised call backs and they never would. We had to keep calling so bottom line we were out $$$. You would think that with Covid still going around they would have been more accommodating.
