Bude Widemouth Bay Beach Hotels

"This house is beautiful and the location idyllic, just a short walk to the beach. It made great stay for our big family as the kitchen, dining and living rooms were very spacious There is plenty of parking and the rooms were good sizes too. Also plenty of fridge and cooking space which was helpful as we did eat in. Now the downsides is that the house seems to be managed by an external company which means check-in wasn't clear, I had to rush over to get the keys at a set time to avoid a fine but actually there was a key lock so this didn't need to happen. The internet didn't work (neither of the external companies or the house internet). One of the showers were labelled out of order so there were only 2 between all of us and looking at old comments this seemed to be an old problem that has not been fixed, and remnants of clothing in the house, suggests that the house wasn't cleaned as thoroughly as it should have been but generally it was ok. They did provide limited samples shower gel/shampoo but no hand soap. Overall it has the potential to be a really great place, it just needs abit of tlc "

"Check in was very smooth. Nicki responded promptly to any queries. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen including sharp knives, which is a rarity! Very comfortable beds and lovely linen. Nice quiet site with plenty of life up at the bar"
