Bude Widemouth Bay Beach Hotels

"We had a fabulous stay at the cabin. We had stayed in Widemouth in Nov and wanted to come back and nearer the sea. Our dog loved walking straight out of the gate and down to the beach in five minutes. We had all weathers but enjoyed some lovely sunny days as well and long walks to Bude by the Canal as well as coastal path. Plenty of places for a coffeesnacks on the beach and so close to Bude with all other shops. Gorgeous rugged coastline and plenty of beach to explore and rock pools. Views from the cabin were stunning and the shepherds hut that we also tried out. Plenty of space for two and large dog, and easy to keep clean and tidy. We bought a few bits like floor wipes and cleaning spray to help keep it tidy/clean but only because we’re a bit OTT on cleaning lol. Lovely welcome goodies and fizz on arrival too which was so nice. Will definitely be planning a return trip maybe when we can enjoy more of the lovely garden in warmer months. Highly recommend a visit here."

"In summary the house was clean, warm and spacious, with comfortable beds. It worked very well for our Christmas family gathering with ample seating areas and a huge dining table. However, some things need a bit of maintenance:EgKitchen tap leaked (spout actually fell off!)Conservatory door locks were a bit trickyFuse box tripped when toaster plugged in (sockets left of sink)Dishwasher door was bent so it catches and won’t shut unless eased into correct position Dishwasher doesn’t wash dishes properlyOne of hob knobs broken and warming plate not workingNot enough wine glasses or water glasses Not all room heaters working in bedrooms & bathrooms (alternative plug-in heater provided worked fine)Fireplace not working, sadlyOne shower out of order"

"Bellair is a spacious 1930’s bungalow less than 5 minutes walk from Widemouth beach, and with views of the sea. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Good shower and plenty of towels provided. Lovely welcome flowers and hamper on arrival. Huge TV, a plethora of board games and books, pool table, table football and a telescope, literally something for everyone and so pet- friendly too: dog biscuits and water bowl supplied 😊 we can’t wait to come back, thanks Michelle for being a great host. My only alert would be the path to front door can be slightly slippery."

"Fantastic stay at this gorgeous house. Perfectly located for a number of beaches and loved exploring the area. Bude sea pool was popular with my grandkids and loved how dog friendly the whole area is. Didn’t want to leave and hope to go back again. "
