不滿：住宿狀況
We have stayed at the Mount a few times before because it is convenient when we visit family. The staff are friendly and helpful and will do all they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
The facilities are basic and in desperate need of renovation but generally clean.
Breakfast is provided in the adjacent restaurant. There is a basic breakfast buffet and cooked options. Tea and coffee are available as are fruit juices and water. The coffee is provided in a flask but you can pay extra for a range of options from a machine.
We asked for a milk alternative as my daughter is sensitive to dairy products and likes to have cereal for breakfast. We were provided with several small sachets of oat milk. On our previous visit we were provided with a small jug of soya milk which we were comfortable with. My daughter felt embarrassed having to open multiple sachets and having them on the table. She is autistic and felt too awkward to have cereal for the rest of her stay. She did not want me to speak to the staff at the time but it would be helpful to have alternative milks available as standard. Perhaps we should have asked in advance.
One of the things that niggled was the reception not being manned most of the time. If we needed to talk to someone there was a button to press to alert the receptionist who was also working in the restaurant. On one occasion I waited 15 minutes and gave up in the end.
This is not the place to stay if you want an above average experience.
