The Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm

"We really enjoyed are stay here. Staff was very friendly. The room was clean. The bed was a little soft for me but it was only one night so it was fine. We had a lovely dinner in the dining room, then the included breakfast in the morning that was satisfactory.The only issue had were the guests that checked in after us across the hall. They were very loud and at first I thought they would settle down but by 11:30 they had not. This is an old inn the walls are thin and light comes in under the doors, Which is fine but that means folks need to be respectful. I finally went out and knocked on their door. They opened it all the way up and there was 3 of them in there and one bed, weird. I told them we were trying to sleep and could they quiet down They agreed and did. We were the able to go to sleep. Other than that it was a good stay. Make sure read the interesting history of the inn. There is an article about how Julia Child visited the inn in 1997 very cool!"

"Everything was wonderful. The host even accommodated adding another day on the front end after I realized that I had reserved the wrong start date by one day. My only recommendation is to be clearer about the property accessories. For example, there is a communal pool with the Quechee Country club but the cost is 15/day/person. This cost is not included with the rental fee and should be transparent to renters. Otherwise, the accommodations were wonderful."

"We had a wonderful stay at this property booked through Vrbo. The house was exactly as describe, clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited for our family of six.We stayed here specifically to enjoy the hot air balloon festival, and the location couldn’t have been better. It was within easy walking distance to the festival grounds, which made everything incredibly convenient and enjoyable.The host was excellent and very responsive, typically replying to any questions within a couple of hours, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free.We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area for the festival or a family getaway."
