Although the hotel, decor and fixtures were older, the rooms and property were immaculate. We had a standard room with a full bed (3rd floor - no elevator) and it was very spacious. The room had a new decent sized fridge, microwave and small kitchen area with sink and small 2 burner stove. You could tell everything was freshly painted, clean and maintained. The motel is close to the beach, and the pool always had plenty of loungers. There were also barbecues and games available for the guests. You can tell the motel is well taken care of, and I can’t think of anything negative to say.

Firstly, housekeeping and maintenance were wonderful—friendly and helpful. Secondly, management and owners not great. On our last day of vacation, management thought it would be a good idea to have the room next to us gutted and have construction done. So not only were my family and I subjected to breathing in whatever debris came out of there but my young children were trying to nap. Talk about trying to sit outside and enjoy your vacation but can’t even hear the person sitting next to you because of the noise. I called and went to the front desk but the only remedy that was offered was to have to them stop for 45 minutes. The noise went on for another 2 hours after. Also absolutely absurd to ask an entire family of four to move all of their things to a different room on their last day of vacation. Needless to say, we will spending our money elsewhere next year.

Property was old looking, Smelled like pee, holes in the wall. The people rung me up and it was 87.00 compared to the hundred and something I paid using Expedia. I had to hold the handle down as instructed by the sign located above the toilet for contents to go down. The room didn’t look nothing like the picture on website. It was cold and windy out the day/night of stay and I wasn’t able to turn heat on.
