「I chose this location because of the proximity to the events we were attending. The house was exactly what I expected from the pictures. Walk to the water. Near private beach, and park. The Host contacted us to make sure things were as expected. Highly recommend for this area. 」

「We had a great stay in this beautiful Shawshank themed home! It is approximately 15 minutes from downtown Mansfield and The Ohio State Reformatory. Downtown Mansfield had several roads closed due to construction, so unfortunately we weren’t able to see several of the locations on the Shawshank Driving Tour. 「Nice n clean. Everything there a person would need for a stay. 」

「The house was very clean , neat and well stocked with necessities! It was such a comfortable home for all of us. I do recommend having a floor lamp in the living room for better reading. The house numbers were hard to see in the dark.」

「It was great! The listing on VRBO did not tell much of anything about it though. Had I known we were going to be right on the lake we'd have brought chairs and beach towels. It doesn't say anything about that or that it is a campground like setting. But we loved that it was quiet and secluded. The room was clean. The lock on the door is very hard to operate. The bathroom faucet is stiff and you feel like you're going to break it when adjusting temps but it works fine.」

「We stayed here for a couple of nights. Location was perfect - just a block from the water and five miles from Cedar Point. Also close to Rt 2 for easy driving to Marblehead, etc. Inside, stay was comfortable and we had plenty of room. The owners have done a nice job with a remodel of an older home. On the down side, I wasn't 100% crazy about the exterior or the neighborhood - both were just a tiny bit on the worn/shabby side - but we felt safe.」

「Nice house, quiet neighborhood. A very well stocked kitchen for just about all our needs. A lot of nice little extras were appreciated and unexpected for a vacation rental in our experience. Close to a lot of local attractions and family fun destinations. Would recommend this property.」
