HORRIBLE - they treated us horrible when the AC stopped working in our room. Basically, put us in a temporary room and then told us “We had to get out of that room because someone else was checking in"? Then we did not have a room at all for half a day. UNBELIEVABLE. Then they told us they would have a solution at 10:00am, then 3:30, then 4:00, then 4:30. You really find out what organization is about when there is a little problem. They did not mind inconveniencing my family for their convenience! Way below the Hilton standards. Very disappointing. There is no way that I could recommend this hotel to anyone. Not even my x-wife.

The place was adorable! The grounds were picture perfect. The beach, pool, the bars the buffet, etc. Friendly staff. The food was what you expect at an all inclusive resort. They are super strict on reservations and you can only reserve for the next day. The water park was a blast! Be ready for the huge snake water slide! The nightly entertainment was fun. Willemstad is a15 minute walk.

I loved the hotel room, the beach area and the food was delicious and so many choices. People working at the reception were very good and helpful. I was so disappointed with people working at the bars and the main restaurant. They were so unfriendly, never talked or smiled, not even to each other. We always had to hunt down clean utensils, glasses and tables, and cleaning tables and placing clean utensils were the only job the staff was supposed to do, food, drinks, water were placed buffet style ( and that was an excellent idea) so we got them ourselves.

I recently stayed at Mangrove Beach Corendo in Curacao, and while there were some positives, my overall experience was less than ideal. First, the check-in and check-out process was quite confusing and disorganized. After a long flight, I was hoping for a smooth arrival, but unfortunately, there were no seats available for guests waiting to check in. It was uncomfortable to stand around for an extended period, especially after traveling for hours. It would have been a nice touch to have a designated seating area for guests waiting to check in Unfortunately, the housekeeping left much to be desired. I found mold in the bathroom, which was concerning, and the robes that were provided were dirty. These issues definitely made me question the cleanliness and attention to detail at the resort. On a more positive note, the entertainment and food options were decent, though nothing stood out as extraordinary. The resort is very kid-friendly, which is great for families, but it didn’t quite meet the expectations I had for a more relaxing, adult-oriented experience. One of the highlights of our stay was Mel at the concierge desk. She was incredibly helpful in booking our cabanas and making sure we were enjoying our stay. Her customer service definitely stood out, and we truly appreciated her efforts. Overall, while Curacao itself is a beautiful destination, I’m not sure I would return to this resort. There are definitely areas for improvement in terms of service and maintenance.

We stayed at this hotel for the Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival. The hotel itself was nice, but the service was very disappointing. Our first room had no internet, no TV, and no working phone, so we lost more than 24 hours before being moved. Later, we waited over two hours just to get an iron, and because of that I missed the main artist I specifically went to see at the festival. One guy at the front desk did try his best to help, but overall the service was unacceptable. I’ve stayed at the Rif before and had a much better experience there, so I recommend the Rif instead of Corendon.

WARNING: This is NOT a 4-Star Hotel – It’s a Health Risk and a Scam This hotel is a mismanaged disaster hiding behind the Hilton brand. It puts guests’ health at risk, delivers appalling service, and offers terrible value for money. We paid over $400/night, but got food poisoning, skipped housekeeping, and staff who don’t care. Do not be fooled by the “4-star” label. It struggles to meet even 2-star standards. Your family deserves better. Avoid this hotel like the plague. Curacao is a beautiful country with excellent hospitality…. elsewhere. Stay away from this hotel. Food Safety: The outdoor buffet is overrun by doves eating directly off the food counters. Staff continue serving food beside the birds as if this is normal. Guests then unknowingly pick food from the same trays the birds peck at. Disgusting and unsafe. Restaurants: They advertise “7 restaurants,” but most are too small for the size of the hotel. Reservations are difficult to secure. The buffet ends up being the only option most nights, and it’s the same bland, low-quality food served over and over again. False “All-Inclusive”: The Room service is just three sandwich options, and it costs $15 extra to deliver. Housekeeping: On multiple days, housekeeping never showed up. When they came, it was just making the bed and replacing towels, no actual cleaning, no mopping, no sanitizing. Management: Terrible. Problems are systematic. We decided to only use this hotel as a place to sleep.

Overall the property was great. We felt safe the entire time. The only downsides were the following but nothing that would hinder me from going back: 1. Food options were limited. There is only one buffet restaurant that is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner at set times. If you miss those times, there is only a small table of food that has options like French fries and chicken nuggets and pizza. 2. There were not any hotel activities. They have a DJ at night but it is very low key and no real entertainment 3. No pool activities during the day. Not a big deal since there are plenty of beaches to go explore on the island so you really shouldn’t be spending all your time at the hotel anyway. Aside from the above, the hotel was great. The restaurants that you have to make reservations are good. The food was pretty good for an all inclusive. If you rent a car, which is a must, parking is very easy at the hotel. There is a garage with plenty of parking spaces.

My stay at the Mangrove Beach Corendon is mixed. The ocean & pool were fantastic & resort is beautiful. The primary concern is for this to be an all-inclusive resort, the guest has to do a lot of work themselves including: getting your own beach towels from the neighboring RIF hotel where I was made to feel like an intruder; finding your own napkins, forks, spoons in the buffet. Many simple things were in short supply. The response of staff was not to take the initiative to help you secure these items, but to point you in the direction of where to go to get it yourself. This was a "get it yourself" hotel. The AC unit didnt work most days & maintenance never came. Voicing concerns to the front desk led nowhere, asking for a manager that was never on duty. The buffet was a disorganized, & couldn't find a table, keep a table. My last day there I saw 2 families fighting over a table at breakfast. It was very cafeteria style instead of the experience I had at other resorts where you are greated & assigned a table & had staff assigned to your area. The buffet food was repetitive & didnt compare well to other buffets. The restaurant dining experience was just as bad. We dined at the BBQ, seafood and Turkish restaurants.The Turkish dining experience was the best experience of the entire week. They actually treated us like we were on vacation. We were ignored at the BBQ, seated 1st & served last. I enjoyed the cabana rental. I won't be returning.

-The property’s appearance is generally satisfactory. However, the rooms were uncomfortable, and several pieces of furniture were severely rusted. -During my five-day stay, I encountered not one hot shower. The closest I came to a lukewarm shower was unsatisfactory. Despite my complaints, the staff assured me that the showers were functioning correctly. -This establishment falls short of providing top-notch service. Customers must actively seek assistance, as they often encounter a lack of friendliness and a general attitude of disinterest. While I acknowledge that not all staff members exhibit these behaviors, my experience was limited to the individuals I encountered. -The food quality on the property was disappointing. The Italian restaurant, the only restaurant on the property, offered basic and unremarkable cuisine. Despite the all-inclusive nature of the package, I found myself primarily dining and drinking off the property. Drinks/coffee from the bars were terrible. -While housekeeping was provided daily, it was inconsistent in its practices. Dirty towels were not provided, and I had to request clean ones when I noticed them in the hallway. I am uncertain whether the hotel sheets were changed, as they were simply made up. -However, I would not recommend returning to this property. If you decide to stay, it may be a decent stay, but do not expect exceptional customer service or attention to detail. I believe the hotel could improve its customer service.

All restaurants are closed. Our flight was delayed and we came to the resort starving until 8pm since there were no other reservations available. Nothing went right. When they switched our rooms we again had rooms with no AC. Entire resort is under staff

Hello! The staff at Mangrove Beach Corendon were truly amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful! The room was tidy, but unfortunately, there was a major ant problem that felt like an infestation. It also seemed like the rooms could use a more thorough deep cleaning. The balcony could benefit from some upkeep, such as fresh paint, and the kitchen staff would benefit from additional training on food preparation and food safety. Overall, the staff made the experience memorable, but the property itself needs more attention.

The staff are not courteous nor friendly. During check in we were told we would have rooms next to each other. When rooms were given 4 hours later as we came in before 4pm and rooms were given after 520pm as they were not ready nd they were on separate floors not close to each other. When I said we were told previously they were close to each other the rep said no that’s all we have. Second issue room 1210 AC would turn off every night and did not get fixed, the toilet was broken as it had no water to flush. Every morning we would tell staff at front desk and this issue was not fixed nor were we switched to another room very inconvenient not able to flush or had to throw in water to be able to flush. Food was great variety of options which was great. Pool water was extremely warm for the hot weather to cool down so would use beach majority of time.

Loved the cleanliness of the resort 10/10. The beach and pool are super accessible. Watching the sunset was my favorite highlight. I would like to see more relevant, engaging and lively entertainment that gives a rich lively experience. Night entertainment was poor, unfortunately. Hopefully this changes in the near future. Overall, a great stay!

Customer service while checking in was poor in my opinion, the food options were diverse and should go to the restaurant at the time of reservation or you’ll be not greeted and wait there for a while. The pool and beach is really nice. The room is okay and waiting for the room to be ready we waited over 2 hours after check in time. But still good experience overall with family except minor hiccups
