BEWARE OF THIS RESORT'S TOTALLY MISLEADING PHOTOS This is no 5-star resort-- at best a 2 or 3 star. Service is poor. Food is old. Floor corridors are filthy and would be of interest to the Board of Health. The "Private Beach" is a joke. It is a manmade beach no more than two city blocks long and one city block wide. If you scratch the sand with your shoe, you hit concrete. The beach chairs are old and thin with no cushions. The pool is tiny. The resort's photos are misleading. I was booked for eleven (11) nights but left three (3) days early. The hotel claimed they couldn't give me a refund because I had booked through Expedia, rather than through the hotel directly. Not wanting to amortize non-stop annoyance with this poor resort by staying any longer, I left anyway and plan to work this not as advertised in any way situation with Expedia. Rental cars were mostly unavailable.

From the time of check in until the day we checked out it was a 10/10 on EVERYTHING. Staff was great. Roland the bell hop remembered our names every time we came out. The food was a 10/10. We recommend ordering off the menu. We did this for breakfast and dinner, and it was amazing. The servers at every bar were great. Gia at 5 O'Clock somewhere was very attentive. Even this review will not do this location justice you have to experience it for yourself. If we ever go back to Curacao we will definitely only stay at this location! It's been 5 days since we left and I am still relaxed from my stay!

Overall, it was good. Just a few things that could be improved upon. greater variety of choices on the menu as well as the buffet. During our stay, we ended up having dinner elsewhere 6 times as a result of the menu. Also, I think there should be more attention spent on people smoking on the beach. Even though there are signs, people are not following the rules, and there are cigarette butts all over in the sand. One day there were a couple of guest smoking marijuana under one of the cabanas. the staff were very pleasant.

Room was clean. Service was overall great. I just wish the resort had more amenities and drinking water access spread throughout. Nautilus Restaurant buffet was very lacking (poor variety, food was mediocre at best, and flies were flying around the fruit). Check-in time is allegedly 4 PM but our room wasn't ready until 15 minutes later, which was a little frustrating but I get things do happen.

Had a wonderful week here. The rooms & grounds were clean & tidy. We loved the food, especially at the Nautilus which is located in the lobby. I enjoyed the fruit water that was in the lobby daily as well as the Starbucks that is in the resort. The Infinity pool is wonderful. There is tons of shopping within walking distance of the resort. We also enjoyed the Infinity bar, they had nightly entertainment, food & drinks. Staff is super friendly & accommodating. All in all a wonderful stay!

Room was clean and housekeeping staff get 5 stars. They were crazy good and went the extra mile and that makes a difference. Resort is an overall 3 for us because no beach (weird sand infinity pool situation) and while the casino is very clean and nice, many of their staff are on a spectrum between completely inattentive to openly rude. That said, there are a few courteous and friendly dealers but they are the exception and not the rule, which points to poor management. Casino would double their money and staff would double their tips by simply being attentive, welcoming and courteous. People are there to have fun, people. We are low key, easy going people with lots of carribean travel and casino experience. Will not return.

We’re in the hospitality industry and travel often, and we truly can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience. From check-in with Marisa, who made everything quick, informative, and seamless, to the warm “welcome home” we received each time from Alexis coming and going — it all stood out. By the end of our stay, we were even getting hugs. Alexis is the absolute best. I’ve never encountered a resort employee so full of life, energy, and genuine passion for what he does. Roland was also such a pleasure — friendly, warm, and always helpful. The restaurant was delicious. We arrived starving and were so pleased with the food. The infinity pool and man-made beach were absolute favorites — peaceful, never crowded, and incredibly relaxing. The location could not have been more perfect. Walking distance to shops, downtown, and restaurants made everything so convenient. This stay exceeded our expectations, and we will absolutely be back again.
Angelique left us the sweetest surprise. There’s nothing like a handwritten note and she had designed it herself with stickers. She’s amazing!

If you’re going to curacao I would definitely recommend staying here. The staff were friendly and helpful. There’s so many shops and restaurants surrounding the hotel, and it’s perfect location if you want to explore willemstad. I will definitely be back!
