Wunderful tropical Villa with swimmingpool for 2 persons

In a wonderful tropical garden you find villa "Colina II"" with its own swimming pool.
The villa is situated south east of Willemstad in the most luxurious area of the town. It is close to Jan Sofat and the beaches of Jan Thiel/Zanzibar, Caracas bay, Sea aquarium/Mambo Beach, Pietermaai. The villa has a large (covered) deck/veranda with lounge beds and diner table with six seats.
It is situated next to the swimming pool with a deck and sun beds as well.
There is an outside shower and a barbecue

Amazing stay. They picked us up at the airport and we rented the car which was super convenient. Very private and not much noise outside (besides the dogs barking). No bugs at night. Would definitively like to comeback is this oasis of peace.

Wenn Curacao, dann nur zu Peter&Wilma !!!

Peter&Wilma sind die BESTEN !Schon die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war einfach klasse !Wir hatten, neben der Villa, auch ihren Toyota RAV4 gemietet. Dieser erwies sich als Glücksfall, da die Straßen bzw. Zufahrtswege zu den Stränden doch teilweise in einem ziemlich dürftigen Zustand sind.Peter&Wilma holten uns vom Flughafen ab und begannen uns direkt die Stadt Willemstaad zu zeigen. Mit vielen Tipps zum Essen, Parken, etc. ging es dann zur Villa.Diese liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend und doch nur ca. 10min von der Innenstadt entfernt. Allerdings kann der Weg in der Rush hour auch mal gut und gerne das dreifache an Zeit erfordern.Die Villa selbst ist ein Traum. natürlich merkt man dass nicht mehr alles ganz neu ist, aber alles ist topgepflegt und extrem sauber. Der Pool ist völlig sichtgeschützt. Man sollte auf alle Fälle in der einsetzenden Dämmerung ein Insektenschutzmittel verwenden, weil das kann schon extrem lästig werden !!! (in jedem Supermarkt gibt es genug Auswahl)Die Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer ist sehr leise. Auf Anraten von Wilma haben wir sie immer auf 24'C eingestellt und das war gut so. Wir haben sie aber a) nie die ganze Nacht laufen lassen undb) manchmal nur mit geöffneten Fenster geschlafen.In der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man so braucht, inklusive Espressomaschine.Mit Gas wird gekocht, auch der Backofen funktioniert mit Gas !Eine Dunstabzugshaube gibt es nicht. Einfach Fenster und Haustür auf, Deckenventilator an !

We had a great stay in this villa. It had a perfect location. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We used the privacy pool every day. It was great to have that opportunity because it was hot. We give this place our warmest recommendations. No one will be disappointed.

The trip was great my only issue was the extra charge for electricity. I have been using VRBO for years and never encountered this. It should be clear in the rental agreement I only found out when I contacted the owner. Other than that the trip was beautiful and the property owners were wonderful. Would definitely go back

Best location and VRBO for first time to Curacao!!

We have traveled throughout the Caribbean, and so far, this is our favorite island to visit. It has a mixture of culture, its beach friendly and the best snorkeling we have found without having to book an excursion. We felt safe wherever we went. Peter and Wilma were incredible hosts, kind, considerate, and shared information about the island with us. The private pool, after visiting the beaches, was amazing! We visited three beaches, Mambo, Jan Theil, and Blue Bay. All were great, depending on what you are looking for. The best snorkeling was Jan Theil, we even saw an octopus, just around the reef. Blue Bay had so many schools of fish which we didn't expect. Another huge win! Wherever we went, the water was clear, warm, and beautiful. Our VRBO had two beach chairs and a cooler. It was very much appreciated, the beach chairs were awesome, because you could sit up instead of always using the beach lounge that you would rent. All three beaches had an entrance fee and an extra charge for lounge recliners. We recommend: Download google translation, was very helpful in the super markets. prices were a bit lower than Aruba which was nice to see. Take a picture of your entrance to your VRBO, in case the exact address isn't in google maps. Taking a picture of the electricity/water usage before and after your stay. This would be for any VRBO because of the high costs, there are limitations, ask ahead of time. Peter had a car available to rent (lucky for us!)

Incredibly relaxing place

This was our second stay in Wilma's and Peter's little paradise. We came specifically to this house because of its two unique features: huge semi-covered patio where we spent all our time outdoors and a totally secluded pool where you can swim naked. Nothing can beat the amazing feeling of complete unwinding from the pressures of our busy lives. We are incredibly grateful for this gift of complete immersion into vacation lazy relaxed mode. Do not forget to buy mosquito spray! We will try very hard to return.

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach super. Die Villa ist ein Traum und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Man hat dort seine Ruhe und Privatsphäre und kann die Annehmlichkeiten genießen. Peter und Wilma leben nebenan und sind sehr hilfsbereit wenn man Infos benötigt, ansonsten bekommt man von den 2 nichts mit. Es ist alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Unvergesslicher Urlaub !

Liebe Wilma & lieber Peter, wir hatten eine großartige Zeit auf Curacao ! Insgesamt gibt es überhaupt nichts zu beanstanden. Der Bungalow ist geräumig und der Garten mit Pool, Sitzplatz und Liegen wunderschön und sehr privat. Alles ist hübsch und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, es ist alles da, was man braucht (Kaffeemaschinen, Toaster, Backofen, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank u.s.w.) .... plus der tolle Weber-Grill, den wir oft genutzt haben. Das Bett waren sehr bequem und alles war ordentlich und schön sauber. Wichtig ist es, das Auto zu mieten, um die Insel erkunden zu können, was wir fleißig gemacht haben. Ihr seid wunderbare Gastgeber ... stets hilfsbereit, immer gut gelaunt und sehr sehr nett ... und welch wunderbarer Service, der Transfer von bzw. zum Flughafen. Besten Dank nochmals für alles ! Beautiful villa and caring hosts

The house was really beautiful and we had some weather but the patio is covered and the furniture was clean and comfortable outside ( not hard plastic) like other places we looked. Kitchen is well stocked (except for potholders) and clean! We used the cooler for the beach which was nice for tugboat as there isn’t a restaurant but there is great snorkeling. The bed is big and comfortable with netting. Bring lots of mosquito spray if you go n the rainy season..Also there is a working washer but it took 3 days for clothes to dry in the rainy season. The family on this property are non intrusive but available and warm. I will definitely stay again after the holidays.

Stayed for 12 days in September. We really enjoyed the place and it's privacy. The Host Peter and Wilma are fantastic, super nice people and a joy to have a chat with. We also enjoyed the daily visit of the Dog's Lexi and Tara. it was very comfortable to be picked and dropped of at the airport by the Hosts. Temperature's in September where a bit hot but luckily the pool was there to cool us of. You will need some mosquito repellent in this time of the year

Ganz tolle Erfahrung mit Peter und Wilma gemacht; Einer unserer Koffer ist nicht angekommen, die beiden haben uns mit Kleidung ausgeholfen. Die beiden waren immer erreichbar wenn man noch etwas brauchte. Die Villa ist sehr privat, der Pool uneinsehbar von draußen. Wir haben auch das Auto von Peter gemietet, sie haben uns vom Flughafen abgeholt und wieder zurückgebracht. Es gibt nur einen Punkt, wo es Abzüge gibt: GELSEN am Abend und am Morgen und davon sehr viele! Wir hatten zig Gelsenstiche! Wenn wir wieder nach Curaçao kommen, werden wir wieder da wohnen und nehmen Mückenspray und Flammenwerfer mit😂 Danke nochmals für schöne zwei Wochen!

Herzlich und traumhaft schön

Wir haben unsere Flitterwochen dort verbracht und hatten wohl die schönste Zeit unseres Lebens. Das Ferienhaus ist geräumig, sauber und wirklich schön. Der Außenbereich ist mit einem Sofa, 2 Betten und dem Pool gemütlich, grün wegen der vielen Pflanzen und sehr privat (ohne Einblicke von außen) Die Vermieter sind sehr nett, hilfsbereit und halten von sich aus Abstand damit man seine Privatsphäre hat. Es gibt beim Haus viele Mücken, man sollte sich Rauchkringel mit Citrusduft vor Ort kaufen. Wir wurden von den Vermietern vom Flughafen abgeholt und am Ende auch wieder hingefahren. Wilma und Peter standen für jede Frage zur Verfügung und hatten viele nützliche Tipps für uns. Wir waren definitiv nicht das letzte Mal bei den beiden im Ferienhaus. Wir können sowohl das Haus als auch die Gastgeber wärmstens empfehlen.

Lovely pool, lots of privacy

Very nice property. Wilma and Peter are excellent hosts. We really enjoyed the pool and the book cabinet. Mostly quiet except for some neighborhood dogs that barked earlier than the roosters. Peter and Wilma’s dogs were very sweet! Diving was excellent. Will definitely need a car if staying here, based on the location. Renting their car was super convenient! And picking us up/dropping us at the airport just made this listing beyond 5 star!

Fantastic and relaxing stay!

Peter and Wilma's wonderful home was the perfect place for us to relax, unwind, and unplug for our vacation. It was clean and comfortable, and the outside/pool area was amazing! We spent a lot of time at the villa, and we loved every minute. There were definitely mosquitoes, but Peter and Wilma provided coils to burn, bug spray, and a fan. Those helped a lot! You will have absolute privacy here. We also cooked several meals (and made plenty of rum punch), and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. Peter and Wilma also gave us a lot of recommendations for restaurants, shopping, beaches, and etc. They even helped us when we left one of our prescriptions at home. Thank you so much for everything, Peter and Wilma!
