Mostly positive.

Had a few issues - ticks, HVAC - that we had to deal with but overarching problem was lack of communication. Location could hardly have been any better. Condo has many very nice features.

Not wheelchair accessible

We stayed 3 of 4 nights booked due to difficulties getting through narrow doorways with the power wheelchair. There is a step at front door, shower was not wheelchair accessible, no grab bars in bathrooms, no marked handicapped parking, and the bed was too high. I was given inaccurate information, and I never got a call back upon arrival. Very disappointed. Seeking a refund for 1/4 of total cost or will dispute with my bank.

Relaxing and Quiet Stay

This was a great place to stay for a couple. We tend to vacation during non-tourist season as it is less crowded and less noisy. Counter space is at a premium in the kitchen area. This was not a major issue for us since we do not cook on vacation. The counter space barely had enough room for the coffee pot and toaster. Terrific view of the Bay. The staff is great at getting any issues or questions attended too quickly. Yes, we'd recommend staying here.

I took my kid on a last minute long weekend getaway before school started and we had a great time. The beach was right in the backyard, the place was clean and there were things to do no more than 15 minutes away. I would definitely recommend this place and I may come back by myself next time. ;)

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Everything we needed was available. Great service from office. So much to do in the area. The lake and sunsets were just beautiful. The condo could use a new sofa and chair. What's there was unusable. Owner should be embarrassed to provide that furniture to paying guests.

Traverse City Stay

The unit we stayed in had two hot water heaters in closets off the living room. When the upstairs tenants turned on the shower in their unit, there was a loud screeching sound in our unit. Twice in the middle of the night while we were sleeping, our shower in our unit suddenly turned on and woke us up with a steady stream that needed to be turned off. We were also instructed in the management notes that we were to use the dark colored washcloths for makeup removal or we could be charged for ruining the white ones. However, our unit did not have any dark colored washcloths. Overall, a disappointing stay at The Shores and we will not stay here again.

Much needed getaway in Traverse City

Our three night stay at The Shores of Williamsburg was everything we could have wanted. Views of East Traverse Bay from both the living room and bedroom, plenty of space for the two of us and conveniently located to Traverse City. We rarely vacation in the same place more than once; however, we would definitely consider returning to The Shores.
