Really not enjoyed, it was never informed renovation going on in tg8s hotel. If it was known never booked. Paid a hefty amount much higher than hotels in down town. Never expected and disappointing.

Beautiful hotel and views, good food, breakfast and very nice bar. Staff very friendly efficient and helpful. Enjoyed the evening boat ride and pool is amazing, you can see river dolphins sometimes. Small point of feedback is in relation to maintenance and attention to detail. Cupboard doors were not closing properly, there was a sticker on the toilet seat, soap dispenser in lounge toilet was dirty. But no major issues, we had a wonderful time

Disappointing.
I had 2 rooms booked for a family of 5. I was given 1 in the heritage wing and 1 in the tower wing. The front desk mentioned they will upgrade us to be together and moved us to the tower wing. the room didnt have dual charger plugs, the hot water in the shower was not working and the guest checkin and buffet was sub standard to The Taj experience we are accustomed to. However, the overall stay, the bar and property location is amazing and enjoyable!!! Manager was very helpful and provided voluntary assistance without even complaining.

Cet hôtel est magnifique mais très excentré. J’ai été très déçue par la chambre qui m’a été attribuée après tout ce temps où je n’ai pu me rendre en Inde (Covid). Au 1er étage vue sur une sorte de garage alors que l’hôtel est situé au bord de la mer. J’ai dû payer 80€ De supplément pour changer de cHambre pour 2 nuits. Mais c’était très bien pour tout le reste :bar, restaurant, piscine, spa….. Merci à tous

What I liked about this hotel is the location . Its a great place to unwind with views onto the sea . But if you are looking to go shopping or other activities its a 30 mins drive . What I did not like is that this hotel needs a revamp. Everything looks old . The bathrooms are not clean as expected . The maintenance department has to improve. I had a light flickering . Telephone not working . Its a popular wedding venue so expect crowds . Pool has no privacy with laborers lounging around . I feel this hotel shoukd be rated 4 star

This is an excellent hotel with stunning views of Arabian sea. If you want to enjoy the Kerala monsoon, this is the best location. The staffs are super friendly. The hotel is very neat and clean and food was excellent. Overall an excellent hotel to spend a family vacation.

On an island that has a beautiful view of the waterway. Room had a limited view but softer type bed. Great view of the sunset and sunrise on the waterways. Spa connected to the location which allowed for last minute bookings. Very beautiful hotel. Limited facilities due to COVID

The property is located on a beautiful coast. Unfortunately there is nothing to do within walking distance. But they do have a free boat shuttle to Fort Kochi. The furniture and electrical needs to be updated. For TAJ we were expecting a bit more modern interior with USB ports for charging for cellphones. Their tea time was fun with excellent eats. The massage was a wonderful experience at their Spa. Will definitely consider it for future stay.

Amazing property. The staff were all amazing. We had an early flight, and we were there around 10:00 am. The hotel was really busy we had requested two rooms. Rahul from the front desk was very kind, he right away gave us one room and the other one an hour later. Thank you Rahul. Pauly from front desk was also very helpful.

Hotel was lovely but the staff made the place extra special. The hotel offered several perks such as daily ferry to Kochi Fort & an evening boat ride which was an unexpected addition. The breakfast was the best we had in India and the restaurants were great too (loved the Keralan prawn curry at the rice boat). The staff were excellent and really made us feel welcome but a special shout is required for the bar & pool staff. I felt like they got to know us in such a short space of time. Will be back when we return to Kerala.

Amazing property, very clean and great service. Comparable to some of the international hotels in Dubai, London etc in terms of cleanliness and service.
