Beautiful Custom Built Timber Frame Home, Sleeps 11

This custom-designed 3000 sq. ft. Timber frame home was built in 2007 and offers a wonderful setting to bring family and friends together. It is situated on a private, wooded lot 12 minutes from Mount Snow and 5 minutes from picturesque downtown Wilmington. It is also located 1/4 mile from the Lake Raponda boat launch and 3/4 mile from the lake's beach and swimming area.
This home really flows with an open floor plan, perfect for get togethers of family and friends. Hardwood floors throughout, lots of windows & skylights, a majestic Great Room, a beautiful Fieldstone fireplace w/ a 48' hearth, a 4-seat breakfast bar, and an 8-person dining room table. The bathrooms are beautifully finished w/ over sized glass shower doors and the Master bath has a large 2-person Jacuzzi-jetted hot tub.

The renovated basement has 9' ceilings, an extra bedroom and a full bathroom. The basement also has a wood stove, ping-pong table, and additional beds for sleeping.

All beds have BRAND NEW pillow-top and Stearns & Foster mattresses, as of Aug. 2021.

Theater-sized 75" Smart TV with sound bar in the Great Room.

There is also a great outdoor, dug-in fire pit on the lower lawn for summertime smores and campfire fun.

Home offers 4 bedrooms with beautiful, full bathrooms on all 3 floors.

Winter getaway

Mike’s home was perfect for our annual cousins ski/snowboard weekend. The house was just as described and supplied with everything we needed. The backyard was an awesome bonus with a perfect sledding hill for the kids and adults! We had a great stay and plan to be back each year!

Wonderful Wilmington VT home

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home in Wilmington, VT. Close to the lake, town, and hiking with gorgeous views. Home was extremely clean, well maintained and comfortable. Would definitely go back!

Spacious & cozy home perfect for a winter getaway

Family winter getaway

The house was amazing! A perfect location and space for a family to enjoy. It had everything you needed whether it be staying in to enjoy a fire or going out to ski,which was an easy ten minute ride away. We will definitely come back in the future. Loved it!

A hidden gem!

Everything was perfect and seriously exceeded all expectations. The seemingly endless number of rooms and bathrooms accommodated my large family, included modern and luxurious amenities (jet tub!), and long rolling hills in the back yard with a beautiful view. Don't pass up this hidden gem!

Fantastic house! Book without worries!

The house was immaculate, gorgeous construction, so many extras, quality pans, etc… Fireplace was roaring, kids went sledding in the backyard, short ride to Mount Snow. I would rent again in a minute. Definitely stay here, you won’t regret it. Owner was very accessible and nice. Perfect Vermont Retreat!!

Beautiful Views

The living area with beautiful stone fireplace looking out on the Mountain views is stunning in person! We had a great stay and had everything we needed for cozy nights cooking in and sleeping well, and easy access to nearby slopes. The kids loved the basement and sledding in the backyard! Beautiful VT House!

We stayed here a couple of years ago with our kids & grandkids and came back with two couples for a little getaway. House is so clean & well equipped! Great Location! We went sledding in the backyard and hiked Hogback Mountain which was perfect. Hosts are so pleasant and easy to communicate with. We are looking forward to returning again! You will not be disappointed booking this house!

Beautiful warm home

House was warm and spacious. Perfect for my family, including young children, to hang out for our first ski/snowboard trip. It was a 15 minute drive to Mt. Snow. We had a few days of rain, but we didn't mind spending the day indoors with a nice warm fireplace. Kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms well stocked with pots, pans, paper goods, and towels. Laundry was also easily accessible. Owner was very responsive whenever we had a question. Excellent communication. Thank you!

Better than described

We had a wonderful stay. Check in was easy, and we walked into a house that was even better than described. The rooms were comfortable, and the gathering areas were spacious but also cozy for the family. Fire wood was stocked and ready to go, and the fireplace became a centerpiece of our stay. Did lots of cooking for Thanksgiving and the kitchen had everything we needed. The owner was kind to suggest hiking options nearby, but given the snow during our stay we skipped the hiking and hung out by the fire place. We also skipped on using the fire pit because of the snow, but it was there and looked inviting. The children enjoyed playing games in the basement. Lots of space to spread out as needed. View from the deck was pleasing and the area is quiet and serene. Owner was responsive when we had questions. We really just felt at home. I imagine the lake being so close by is a great option for the summer. We would certainly consider coming back. In fact, I think it is quite likely we will.

Perfect!

We rented this property to celebrate our parents 60th wedding anniversary. There were 8 adults: me, my siblings, our spouses and our parents. There was plenty of space, it was the best stocked house we have ever rented. Very clean and comfortable. Views out the back are amazing. We were only here for 2 night - and it rained both nights - so we really were not able to take advantage of the deck or the fire pit. We realized it was the first time that my parents, brother, sister and myself had all slept under the same roof in 30 years! Perfect large table so we could have meals together and play board games and cards. The bathrooms were nice- and as the last person to take a shower in the morning I was happily surprised that there was still plenty of hot water. The town of Wilmington is quaint, had a great lunch in town, a fantastic breakfast at Dot’s, walked through the flea market (much smaller than we pictured). We would definitely stay here again!

The house is beautiful and has a gorgeous view, especially at night of the stars. Michael was super responsive with a couple of questions we had on logistics and supplies to bring. We would highly recommend staying there and will probably book again in the future.

Every essential provided-tp,pt,soap,laundry/dishwasher detergent,etc. AC not adequate for family room. Dryer did not work. Front entrance dangerous—2 slabs of slate and 1’ rise to porch. Difficult for older and young persons. Although surfaces were clean, house needs a deep clean and parts need a reno.
