Family time and privacy

Such a beautiful house and property! So nice to have a space that is secluded and away from everyone with a beautiful lawn but also close enough to town that riding into the store isn't a big deal. Great space for an extended family visit, we would have been most content spending most of our time in the house. Especially love the grill fireplace and outside sitting areas. I would recommend eye masks if you come in the summer and want to sleep in.

Inaccurate listing with very poor communication

This listing had many issues which needs to be addressed. First of all, description of the listing is not accurate. In the name and description of the listing it is mentioned that it has fire pit, but actually there was none. We tried getting assistance but just received operator messages with no actual help. It was really frustrating and just waste of time. The cabin is outdated and needs major maintenance. Bugs are everywhere even now in October. Rooms upstairs are burning hot while downstairs is cold. In general, I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

Whistling Peak

The house was beautiful and the view was stunning. We found mouse poop in one of the drawers in the kitchen. The trash was full when we arrived so there was no place to put our trash bags. There were cigarette butts on the ground despite it being a non- smoking property. We are outdoors people and would have loved to use the fire pit but the it was very far from the house and wood was not supplied. I cannot imagine having to pack wood and then lugging it that far. However, it was overall a great place and would recommend to friends.

Great Summer Weekend

Very nice property in Willington with lots of privacy and a beautiful rolling lawn to sit outside and enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine. A short drive to center of town in Wilmington for food, shopping, etc. Would definitely return back for another stay!
