Winter Book Club Retreat!

My book club stayed at this place for our end of the year winter retreat!! It was isolated enough for us to sit around and snack, rest, and read! But close enough to town to go out for dinner and shop! We had a wonderful stay!

Relaxing time with friends.

The property was beautiful. The last day there we saw 2 deer grazing outside our bedroom window. Loved the quiet evenings around the fire pit telling stories and laughing together.

Nice place on a beautiful property

My family had a great stay here. Very nice place inside and out, and the hosts are very helpful and communicative. Check in and checkout were very easy. Highly recommend!

Great Weekend Getaway!

This lovely cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway. It is a short drive to the charming village of Wimberly with lots of options for dining. The house itself was well appointed and very comfortable. I'll definitely book this again!

Wonderful log cabin in the country .

Cabin was very nice & clean & private , yet only 5 min to the square . Hot tub & outdoor amenity's were great . We spent a wonderful week there & enjoyed every minute . the wildlife (birds & deer ) make for excellent photo opps . Will stay here again for our next trip to Wimberley .

30th birthday trip

This cabin was a wonderful place to relax and spend time with friends. We enjoyed how secluded it was and all of the ammenities provided. The hosts were kind, helpful and quick with their communication. Looking forward to visiting here again in the future!

Nice home base for wedding

Overall, our stay was pleasant. The cabin could use a fall cleaning. We did see 2 dead roaches and one live one. There were large cobwebs in the bathroom windows. Things were pretty dusty. But, this is a country cabin and we rolled with it.We did not use the hottubso i can't speak to that. There was traffic noise outside and very steep stairs leading to the room with the king bed. Overall, it was fine. Location is nice for downtown Wimberly shopping and nearby wineries.

Unplugged Christmas

We needed a long weekend getaway with minimal electronics to celebrate Christmas - and your cabin provided. While we didn't use the hot tub, we enjoyed the fire pit one night with ghost stories and beverages. Your dining table was the perfect size for working jigsaw puzzles. Thank you for letting us add our daughter-in-law and toddler grandson at the last minute. He loved the stairs!! We relaxed, laughed, and went into town only once. We were only a mile or so from town and yet felt we were in a remote country location with bright stars. Thank you again and again for your quick responses and loan of your wonderful cabin. It was perfect!

Cute Cabin

Was a good stay, property as advertised and clean. More road noise than I was hoping for, but only heard when outside. Check-in process was a little challenging but not sure where that responsibility lies. There were no details on check-in/door code within my confirmation emails or app (I checked and had 2 other people in my party check), so not sure if there was a problem because I only booked a couple days out and the typical sequence of communication didn't occur. However, the homeowner was responsive and communicative once I reached out about not having access details 30 mins from check-in time.

Great location

Great location, close to town, if you are traveling with a pet this location is ideal. Cabin could use some work, and the exterior windows were full of hornets nests and cobwebs, could use a good exterior cleaning. Hosts were sweet and left us champagne and coffee beans, as well as treats for our pup which was very kind! We would stay there again.

week long stay in Wimberley with excursions in the neighboring areas and towns - location is close enough to town to make a morning run for a cup of coffee very easy. Wimberley is busy and traffic is a real thing. Our cabin was close enough to town to be maybe 7 minutes away and far enough away to see an 8 point buck wandering the property. Wifi is great, no complaints at all. Very much needed escape.
