If It Weren’t For The View…
…my rating would have been lower. The house is cool (I like mid century) but very outdated, dingy, and not kept up. The shelves in the fridge were broken. The kitchen island is a toolbox, and because the floor is brick/uneven, the drawers kept opening (shin check) so we taped them. The kitchen trash can pedal is weird so have fun trying to open it. Only two tide pods were left for 10 people over 3 days/nights. I requested late checkout and was told to wait until after check in to request it, so I did, then it was denied. The maids showed up right at 10am then I received a message that we needed to vacate the premises immediately or we would be charged the cleaning fee (again); they had no reasoning for denying it in the first place. There is clearly a hot tub next to the pool so I asked how to operate it, since there are no pool instructions, and they told me there is no hot tub listed on the guest amenities so it’s not for guests. Then I received a separate text message that there is no hot tub, it’s a small pool for the spillway (waterfall/sheer decent). Thats ridiculous, contradicting, and probably another maintenance issue. The fans in all the rooms are tiny and need to be turned up all the way because the whole guest side of the house is hot, so they make a lot of noise and shake. The pool sticks are all broken or need repair. The deck (both of them) clearly need to be repaired or replaced. It’s mediocre at best but the view is nice. It should definitely be cheaper.
