"The property was so nice and private and quiet! I only wished that there were curtains to cover the gaps that the blinds left open and that there was a secondary deadbolt or chain lock on the inside of the front door. Aside from that, it was perfect!"

"The location of this house is superb if privacy is important to you. The grounds are off-the-chart gorgeous with the limestone layered terraces, access to the crystal clear creek, the fire pit and hot tub (which worked great!). The house itself was almost perfect for our needs. The king bed was super comfy and the AC worked just fine. The kitchen was well stocked with the basics (salt, pepper, etc -- stayed at some places where NOTHING was stocked) so appreciated the attention to detail! Only negatives: (1) bathroom -- no shelves or counter space at all in the bathroom to put anything on and the tiny shower could have used a place to put soap dish or shampoo bottle. But the fluffy white towels were generously stocked which was definitely a plus; (2) noise from roadway just over the ridge. If not for that, one would almost feel completely "away from it all". Can always get shelves for the bathroom but doubt you can move the roadway! I hope to return to this wonderful place in Wimberley!"

"This is a very unique property with beautiful views. We enjoyed the setting, but be sure to review the property details carefully so you understand the layout before booking.The two queen beds are located in lofts above the main living area and kitchen and do not have room above to stand up. Access to the lofts requires climbing a metal ladder, which we found somewhat uncomfortable on bare feet. It could also be difficult for anyone with mobility concerns or for someone who frequently gets up during the night.The twin sleeping spaces are actually part of a large L-shaped sectional couch located under the loft in the living room rather than regular beds.Another unusual feature is the layout of the bathroom. To move from one area of the unit to another, you have to pass through the bathroom. If someone is using it, you either have to walk through while it is occupied or wait until they are finished.Overall, it is a very unique property with wonderful views. Just be sure you are comfortable with the loft access and unconventional layout before booking."
