Great Stay!

We enjoyed our stay! The property was updated and clean. Close to town as well. We would stay there again.

Great house and location, terrible management

This house was wonderful and in a great location. However, it was not cleaned prior to our arrival. I contacted the management company, and they said “they’d pass it on to the cleaners” and did not offer any other assistance. I asked for a refund of our cleaning fee, and they said they couldn’t authorize that because there wasn’t a manager available until Monday. After a couple emails, I finally got a supervisor a week later, who still denied the request and offered no assistance. Unfortunate that they manage this cute property, we won’t be back.

Favorite VRBO!

I have stayed in many VRBO short term rentals and Wimberly Waters is my favorite! The home is beautiful, and the location is perfect. I would definitely stay at Wimberly Waters again.

Great for big groups

We had a sweet short weekend stay here. Stayed at the main house of which is a compound. Really well done design, very clean. Comfy bedding. Not right on the river but is a short walk. Literally next to fish tales restaurant which has live music at night. Thankfully shut off at like 9 but still didn’t get the crickets and quiet we experience on cypress creek. Unfortunately no sidewalks to town and the land is not walkable due to the landscape and fast drivers. The road the house is on has a lot of traffic which made us nervous with young kids. Our kids loved the big yard, hammocks. Wish we could’ve used the outdoor pavilion so beautiful. All in all if I had a large group I would definitely rent again and recommend!
