「This is the second time we stayed at The Retreat. LOTS of space inside and out for our family to gather. Kids age 3-10 could not get enough of the heated pool and the adults especially enjoyed the hot tub. We added an 'exrra' and had a small family reunion one of the afternoons and the place was perfect for this. Game room such a bonus when it rained. 「We stayed here for our family vacation in Kenosha - 7 adults and a 5 year old. The house was a well-appointed and had lots of room for us all to gather in one place or spread out if we wanted to. Good location near restaurants, groceries, etc. Loved the view of Lake Michigan and we were just a short drive to an accessible beach. Owner Dan was easy to work with and responsive. 「My husband and our two kids, aged 21 and 18, stayed here for spring break. The house is beautiful. Exactly as advertised. The property managers were very helpful and repos we quickly to any questions. Check in and check out were easy. 「We (wife and I) spent 2 nights here as a get-away/Christmas gift to each other, and it was beyond expectations! The location is in a quiet area and close to Kenosha for the shops and restaurants. 「When we arrived at the property, we were graded by the property managers son was very helpful in the process explaining what was going on with the city water construction construction that was happening when we arrive. 「First time on VRBO, but experienced renter. Positives: the view, the check-in process and owner communication all were as good as you could ask for. Needs work: General cleanliness - the blue chairs in around the kitchen table were stained to the point people avoided sitting in them. The exterior desperately needs a pressure wash. Master bedroom - great view and a recent update, but the bed literally broke when I sat on it and there is nothing else in the room - no end tables, no luggage...

"We arrived one hour before checking time, there is no storage room for guest luggage, we have to pay early check-in fee for one hour. There is no flexibility. The fare I paid includes breakfast, but hotel only provide very simple breakfast set for pickup, one muffin one apple juice and one yogurt only which is far from my expectation. Overall it is a fair hotel, don't expect too much."
