Mouse in property

Unfortunately there was a mouse/mice in the property and I believe it/they had been there for a couple of days, as we found droppings in the corners in some of the downstairs areas. We also found more droppings in my 2 year old daughter’s drinking cup, which was quite shocking. We eventually caught the mouse and released it outside. Although of course there could be more in the property. We told the owners through the booking agent but they never responded, so we were quite disappointed considering this is supposed to be luxury, high-end accommodation. Additionally there is a damp smell in the kitchen.
