The cottage is conveniently near Winderemere and Bowness-on-Winderemere. We arrived using public transport and the cottage is 9-11 mins walk uphill from the bus stop which is okay when you don't have to pull the luggage (not against the property).The area is quite (there's a garage if you have a car). It is also very spacious for 5 of us (3 adults,2 kids). The kitchen is well equipped to make a home cooked meal,washing machine,fridge/freezer and dishwasher. It has an open plan dining and living area. The only negative is I did find one dirty towel (stain)on arrival day which I have no problem washing it. The cottage is so cozy after a long day exploring the Lakes. The bed is so comfortable and the garden at the front is so nice.
