Fabulous Lodge
Super clean, very well equipped, comfortable and spacious lodge in one of the quieter areas of the park. Comfortable beds and lovely shower rooms. We had one slight problem on out first day but sorted by the host in less than half an hour. Couldn't fault the lodge and surroundings - the only down-side of our week was the internet that kept dipping out which was a bit annoying but, all in all, a super stay.

Fantastic
We are just home from Sunny Bank lodge. All I can say is it was perfect. Decorated to a high standard and everything you need is there. Louise was brilliant and it’s a credit to her. She is very good at communicating quickly so you’re not waiting long for any queries to be answered. Its location is about 2 min walk from the reception/pub/ shop/ play area and swimming pool so you’re not going to get lost. The introductions given were easy to follow when checking in so there will be no problems. Sadly we had rain almost every day but we still got out and about and the site is a few miles drive to Windermere where there is lots to do for all ages. The decking area loops round the lodge so you’d be getting the sun most of the day (if you’re lucky with the weather) and there are three different seating areas to relax in. Highly recommend a stay here and you will not regret it. We will certainly be back and we traveled from Northern Ireland. Worth the 12 hour round trip!!

Lovely lodge stay in Windermere!
A beautiful lodge that was very clean and in a gorgeous setting. I was worried the lodge would be small for seven of us but the sofa and living area was very spacious and there was plenty of room. The addition of an en-suite in every bedroom was also lovely! Would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous week in Windermere!
We had a great stay here. Fantastic location, the lodge was great for all ages. It is pretty big & has a great outdoor area too. Really relaxing and quiet on the holiday park also. We ended up using the pool which is on site which was great, you can book it in hourly slots at reception. Also used the courts & the park which was great for a 1 year old and 9 year old. This place would also be great for just adults too! Close to walk to the boats & close drive to Windermere & Ambleside. We also left two stuffed animals which Louise was very happy to post back to us! All round great trip. Thanks!

Absolutely Idyllic stay
Couldn't have asked for a better venue to treat my Mum to a surprise holiday. The lodge was impeccably decorated and set up for our stay. The location was perfect, managed to get out from the park straight onto the water with our kayak. The park is also only a short car ride to Ambleside and Bowness on Windemere. Louise our host could not have been more accommodating. Would definitely visit again!

Idyllic
First time I have ever stayed in a lodge and was not sure of what to expect but upon arrival was really pleased with the location of the lodge. After accessing the lodge my family and myself was taken aback with the quality of this lodge. Everything was really above our expectations and the cleanliness was spot on. Three en suite bedrooms was really good and TVs in each bedroom meant no arguing over what to watch. The open plan of this lodge was great with a big living area and kitchen meaning no one was ever felt left out whilst cooking the n the excellent kitchen area. The decking area was great with plenty of furniture to relax on and even an outside dining table which sat the six of us on comfortable. The marina was a short walk away and so to was reception area with facilities so felt like we was ideally situated in the middle. This to me was a perfect lodge in perfect surroundings for my family and myself to spend our holiday in. Will definitely be looking to return. Thank you Paul Smith and family

Simply Stunning
The property is stunning, very tastefully decorated and furnished. Great location on the park and very spacious. The property absolutely lived up to our expectations, the kitchen was well equipped and the communication from Louise was spot on. We can't wait to stay here again!

We had the most amazing weekend celebrating my husbands 40th birthday. Louise went above and beyond and had the lodge decorated for us arriving. Everything was perfect and we have already booked to return next summer.

The lodge was beautiful and in probably one of the best locations, very quiet, private and terrace was very sunny. The lodge was very well equipped and finished to a high standard. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic!
My family and I stayed at Sunnybank over Christmas and we were not disappointed! This truly is a lovely lodge that has everything you need. It was immaculate and definitely the nicest lodge in the park. Louise had made it very festive for our arrival and even left some lovely Christmas treats for us. The attention to detail to ensure our comfort was amazing and we would stay there again in a heart beat. Definitely recommend!

Gorgeous cabin, beautifully furnished
It’s obvious that this is a well loved cabin, with the owners decking it out beautifully. We loved the design and found it really cosy and comfortable. Great to have all en suites and the kitchen was really well equipped. Bear in mind it’s on a substantial Parkdean site though, which might not be for everyone.

Lovely getaway
The nicest lodge on the plot! Very modern and up to date, comfy, cosy and just a lovely place to stay! Nice big sofa for big family’s, enough bathrooms for everyone, plenty of room in the kitchen! Great location too and walkable to Bowness-on-Windermere and Windermere village! The only issue is the WiFi doesn’t really exist because it’s from the park and not the individual lodge.

Re the wifi, I’m so sorry about that, we were looking into direct wifi to the lodge but the park announced they were investing 18 million into new wifi across all parks which was due to start in March but due to Covid this hasn’t happen as yet, hopefully if you visit in the future it will be all up and running. Fantastic lodge for a family.
This is a brand new lodge with plenty of space inside and two large outside deck area's, all areas were very well equiped. The lodge is situated between Ambleside and Bowness on windermere, perfect location for the lake district.

Wonderful stay at Sunny Bank
Enjoyed a great family break at Sunny Bank Lodge. The lodge is beautifully presented and very comfortable with great modern facilities and plenty of room to relax both inside and out on the outdoor deck which is huge with an array of comfy outdoor furniture. I would highly recommend this property and would not hesitate to return.

Stunning lodge
The lodge was immaculate, very new and big enough for our family. It was big inside and outside. Unfortunately due to the weather, we were not able to use the outdoor space but indoor was great. The location is good within the resort but the resort wifi wasn’t great. We had all that we needed except there was no coffee, tea & enough sugar included as suggested on the site but it wasn’t a big deal as we took our own anyway. Louise went out of her way to accommodate our large family and was very professional. She was very quick with her responses and answered all my questions. Getting into the property took us a few mins to work out but with Louise promptly responding, the issue was resolved quickly and we were able to begin our stay. I cannot fault this lodge nor Louise as both were exceptional. We had paid £15 for the use of leisure facilities in the resort, which we were unable to use due to always being fully booked but the resort refunded us the payment on our last day. Thank you for having us stay here, we have left with great memories.

Had such a lovely time on our first holiday with our baby. The lodge had everything we could have needed and more, the highchair was especially appreciated! The location is great, close to everything you could need. We hope to return in the future and will definitely recommend both the lodge and the park to family and friends.

This place was nice and in a great location, just near all the sites in windermere. The host is super nice and helpful. I have noticed decking of this cottage is larger than others cottages. Well equipped house with all modern facilities. We lived comfortably and enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend this house.

A beautiful lodge with everything you need for a holiday in the lake district. Fairly central location so easy to get places. Parkdean resort had plenty of activities to keep kids amused on wet days. Would definately recommend and would stay again if we came back to the area. Thank you for making us feel so at home.

Perfect getaway in perfect location
Everything about this trip was perfect. Louise was so friendly and helpful, everything we needed was thought of. The accommodation was beautiful and clean. Beds super comfortable. We saw lots of wildlife around the lodge, ducks and even a baby deer. It was in the perfect position to explore the lakes and local attractions. Thank you Louise for a most enjoyable stay, we will be back.

Fantastic location!
The lodge it self was perfect inside and out and had a lovely homely feel to it. The staff at the park were very friendly and helpful with any enquiries we had. If anybody is thinking about visiting the the lakes this lodge makes the ideal base for exploring..... Thank you Louise i will definitely be staying again in the future 😊
