"Stellar experience at La Bougainvillea! My twin sister and I were celebrating a BIG birthday and our retirements so we really wanted the trip to be very special and La Boug was just perfect! From our earliest communications, we felt that we were dealing with a highly professional operation which reflected warm hospitality, personable service, professionalism, and a desire to make our experience of Eleuthera as memorable as possible. When we arrived, we were greeted with a cool delicious rum and citrus drink and the relaxed vibe which continued to be the environment at La Boug for the rest of our week. We had chosen the See Sea cottage for the two of us so we could each have our room, bathroom and balcony and it was 100% worth it! The cottage was immaculately clean, well equipped with a "foodie-grade" efficient kitchen, a large living room, two large bedrooms (one with a sea view and one with a garden view), a small but refreshing pool, plenty of beach towels, a grill, picnic table, etc. We treasured the privacy and "homey-ness" of having our own place while also being able to quickly access the resort with its crystal-clear Infinity pool, restaurant, and .... oh.... the BEACH! Words cannot describe the soft pink sand, turquoise waters, and quiet beauty of La Boug's private beach: of all the beaches we visited, it remained the BEST! "

"It was so joyful being with another couple and our dogs so close to the beach and services. The power went out and the host immediately showed up to make sure we had matches for candles, he said ‘it’ll likely comeback on shortly’. Lit candles were almost Immediately extinguished when the power returned. Crystal clear plunge pool. 5 gallons of water, amazing upper deck off master….much much more in a cozy space by the ocean. "This was THE PERFECT place to stay for our family vacation. We had a group of 10 and there was plenty of space for everyone. The view was amazing and we spent alot of time in the pool or sitting on the covered porch. A few of us also enjoyed the kayaks. The host was very responsive and there were zero issues with check in. This was our 3rd trip to Eleuthera, but our first stay at this house. It was our favorite rental spot so far. Everything exceeded our expectations!"

"This home was everything it said and more. The views of the ocean were breathtaking. The views of the gardens and yard were also breathtaking. House was perfect for our extended family and privacy. The deck down by the ocean was perfection! The views were unmatched! Our only complaint was the lack of water pressure in two of the three showers. It was impossible to wash your hair in two of the showers, which meant everyone was showering in one of the bathrooms. The dryer also was not working, but they opened the other property up and allowed us to take out laundry to that house. Again kind of a hassle, but we still give the property and the location five stars! The host was super quick to respond about the dryer issue. The house and the yard are kept immaculate. Wonderful property!"

"Best part was the beach in the back of the house, excellent concrete property felt safe however it needs a little TLC, for ex. Screen in the back porch needs fixing, bath towels need to be replaced, no toiletries just one roll of toilet paper and hand soap, no tv, internet is weak. And the the latter part of the road to get to the house is horrific. Nonetheless, we had an amazing time able to relax and enjoy the beach."
