"Typical older motel. It was clean and had what i needed to spend a night. For the price, it was a good stay. Very close to Gridwood so we went there to eat. "

Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Anchorage Airport
4/10 Poor
"Room was dirty. Hair and sticky stuff on counters, inside the refrigerator, and bathroom. Dirt and plastic utensils on the floor. Dust build up in the light fixtures hanging on for dear life. One singular hanger in the closet. Lights dont work in the bedroom and tv is small. Maintenance staff was helpful to clean up the refrigerator. Carpet in common areas, stairs and lobby smell of strong pet odor. There is no elevator and staff not helpful getting stuff up and down for you. Furniture and beds had faint cigarette odor. Beds not comfortable with stains on blankets. Shower leaking, but water pressure good. Shower curtain dingy, tub is super slippery. Towels are cheap with lint going everywhere. Floors are lumpy and uneven. Furniture drawers and doors won't stay closed and have trash in them. They don't provide complimentary water, basic kitchen necessities like pots, pans, dish soap and sponge. Only 2 small bars of soap and 3 small shampoo is given for a 3 night stay, nothing else. One colleague's sliding door would not lock. Breakfast was disappointing with cheap options available. Outside and parking lot was dirty with trash everywhere and not maintained. Ice machine out of order. Walls are super thin. You can hear people walking and moving around in the halls and in their room. Overall, a cheap uncomfortable and disappointing experience."
"Please, do not recommend this hotel to your followers. This hotel does not represent the high standards of the Wyndham name. The areas in the main entrance and the lobby look dirty. Strange people in the surroundings, the rooms smell of cigarettes, the shuttle bus drivers are rude and spoiled with the guests. The bathtub need to be repair, the snack area empty. I don't recommend it to anyone and I'm not going to stay in that hotel again. Investigate "
"The place was clean and comfortable. The only thing we didn’t like was the shower didn’t have much pressure and there were no toiletries or hair dryer in the bathroom. We appreciated the extra blankets and we had a good nights sleep! Only stayed one night. "
Private suite in an Owner occupied home with views of the Chugach Mountains.
10/10 Excellent
"The host thought of everything. There were many thoughtful extras that were made available to and for us to use (if we chose to). Extras such as binoculars and a backpack for day trips and a reusable (cloth) shopping bag for food runs. This property is centrally located for trips to Anchorage, the scenic highways, and excursions. I was there for two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The host has a plethora of information about alaska and available 'things to do'. If/when I come back to Alaska, this is where I would stay!!"

"We travel the world...
Have never had a better experience
The place is so beautiful- but what teally sets it apart is the hospitality
So friendly, and literally gourmet breakfast, hand made, every morning!"
