“The Inn is historic and beautiful from the outside and in a lovely setting. The dining room was pleasant and we used our 10% off coupon we were given in check in to have dinner, which was fine. Our room, however, was disappointing. It was freezing cold when we entered, which did not make us feel welcome. One heat source was an electric fireplace thing that did not put out much heat, and the other was a wall unit that didn’t regulate the temperature well. We were either way too hot or way too……

“The hotel is located inside the University of Maine campus, which is quiet, safe, and has convenient parking. The rooms seem to be converted from student dormitories, so the layout is different from typical hotels. The bathroom in my room was exceptionally large, almost at a luxury mansion level, and the bed was also big. The room was clean with high ceilings, but there was no desk available for use, which was somewhat inconvenient.”
