“Having arrived in the town, I was called by the owner stating the toilet in the room had been flooded or something by previous guests and so there was no room for me to have. I then had to spend double the cost of the room on another room, and so now need to claim my money back. This was not helped by there being a music festival going on and most rooms in the town were already occupied. Yes the guy was very sorry and all that, but this was half an hour before I was due to check in.”

“First time visit to England from US to visit my sister and nieces who live nearby in Upwell. We wanted a place with AC as we are a bit spoiled as americans when it comes to AC, and found this place near Ely on a fishing lake. It was an exceptional find, to say the least. Close to Ely, the shops and cathedral, and not a far drive to many other places, including Cambridge. The hot-tub was nice, setting beautiful, and hosts were excellent too. Honestly couldn't have expected anything better, and……

“Was a very nice lodge/cabin just what we expected, no phone signal but wifi works fine and is free, just make sure you check boiler is on before filling hot tub up lol, did notice the tv feet was installed wrong so changed them over 😂”

“Sea Holly Lodge was perfect for a few days away. It is a beautiful lodge, everything in the lodge is lovely, the kitchen was well stocked with enough plates, cups, cutlery etc. The beds were comfortable with great linen, bathrooms were clean and there was plenty of hot water. It was a home away from home. We would all recommend this property to friends and family. Communication from Lucinda was prompt and helpful. Thank you ”

“Really lovely location, easy to find. Email with key safe details sent an hour prior to check in, more ideal if possible to send a day before, I was informed when calling reception on arrival; hadn’t thought to check, lady on phone was very helpful. Two recommendations: Cabin is well equipped - but missing a small sieve, as partner got mild burn when draining pasta. Also, an option of a retractable cover over hot tub/outside sitting when it rains would be great as we were a little restricted……
