“Presentable room all good and pleasant friendly staff.”

“Disappointed to see that there’s no lights for the footpath or any signs to tell you where to go. We arrived a bit late and we had to go three separate ways to eventually find the pod. It was pitch black and the footpath could use with some cheap solar lights. Also the shower didn’t had much pressure and inside the cabin was an old smell - probably not really well ventilated. Overall it was ok but I wouldn’t book again.”

“This was our second visit to the lodges and we weren’t disappointed. Room was spotless, good shower and plenty of sockets. The breakfast to go is a bonus and filling. There’s a lovely courtyard which we used to sit out and have supper. If you want a break from the hustle and bustle of a hectic life this is the place to come and unwind. The host was friendly and gave us suggestions of places to visit. Will definitely go back again.”

“There was mix up with our room. Got cancelled without us knowing. Phoned to try and cancel but we were told we couldn't get a refund if we did even though it was within the time limit of cancellation. We obviously didn't cancel and rocked up to find the room that they allocated to us was occupied and we needed another room. Luckily there was one available but we had to pay at the time. We eventually go a refund from Expedia for set room. Didn't enjoy the experience. Was made to feel I made the……

“Lodge was beautiful in a very quiet secluded wooded area. It was well equipped with everything you need. Hot tub, BBQ and seating area lovely. Very comfortable bed and kitchen had everything you need. Really great stay.”

“We had a lovely last minute break at Chestnut luxury lodge with our dog. It was quiet and relaxing, spotless. Exceptional hospitality and communication from Billy and team, all the wonderful extras coffee pods & tea coffee box and cleaning essentials boxes were great. India loved her break and treats too and the warm welcome. The hot tub was amazing. The lodge was extremely comfortable with everything we needed. We also enjoyed the ice cream and waffles from the visiting catering van on the……

“Stay clear! Don’t know when the photos were taken but it’s not like that now! We arrived at house and knocked door to get access to lodge… no answer! Just a faded note we couldn’t read and guttering falling around front door. Anyway thought we would go to lodge to see if we could find anyone only to find mouldy doors, cracked dirty render, rusty cars in parking area and piles of junk outside every door to lodges! Hence we left and booked a holiday inn which was good! I’ve asked for a refund……
