Great cabin for family vacation

Excellent cabin for family vacation. Great amenities for kids and adults. The beach within walking distance is not really a beach, but a shoreline. Castle Rock Park beach which is 5 min drive is a perfect beach for all. Beds are very comfortable. Lovely place to get away from it all!

Great cabin!

We had a great time at the cabin. The pictures barely do it justice. Ursula was great to deal with and made check-in/check-out a breeze. The rustic cabin had all the amenities listed. We were able to rent a boat and dock it at The Dirty Turtle bar (7 minute drive) for $20. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Wonderful Vacation Home

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin in the woods. It was scrupulously clean and beautifully decorated. The bedrooms are separated from each other, two with ensuites and the other 2 bedrooms had a beautiful bathroom located just outside each bedroom. There is also a wonderful loft where are 2 boys slept. The location is perfect with more things for the family to do than we had time for. The host was wonderful to work with. Everything was just as she told us it would be and she was available for help at any time if we would have needed it. We would give the highest recommendation of this cabin to anyone who is considering it.it.joutside the bedroom.

Great Family Time

Beautiful log home, loved the layout with bedrooms on each end of the house on both the main level and lower, walkout level. 2 of the 4 bedrooms are ensuites, with all 4 bedrooms having access to their own bathroom and large closets, (3 walk-in)made our stay so comfortable. The additional sleep/lounge/loft area upstairs provides sleep/activity area for older kids or work/computer area for adults. Lower level is another couch/actvity/tv area, in addition to the bedrooms. A pantry space that was empty except for a few small appliances (crockpot, hand mixer, etc) made a great space to organize ALL of our snacks etc. The hosts were great with communication and followed thru with all follow up and communication. We made wonderful family memories on this multi family vacation. Thank you to Ursula and Eric.

Nice property, but it isn’t on a lake like the listing says. It is off a subdivision road, and it is a considerable walk down to the water. You are secluded in trees so it has a private feel, but no lake views.

Beautiful home, has everything needed. Small beach 6 minute walk, 2 minute drive within community. Sandy, very gentle slope. Great for everyone. Other beaches, trails 5-15 minutes away. Wisconsin Dells 30 minutes away. Nice brewery in Mauston. Restaurants a bit spotty, but eatable. Ursula very responsive. VRBO went down shortly before we arrived and able to reach her quickly via cell to get in. Reached out a couple other times and always quickly responded.

Great Stay

Eric and Ursula were fantastic hosts and maintain a beautiful properly for a family getaway. Very impressed that the house / garage are fully stocked with just about everything you would need. Highly recommend this property and hope to be back again soon.

Terrific Vacation!

We stayed in Eric and Ursula's home with another family for the week and had a wonderful time. There were 9 total people and we were very comfortable. The house was clean and so very beautiful - we would stay there again! The kitchen was very well stocked with all the utensils and appliances we needed and the rest of house felt like home too. We enjoyed nightly walks down the road to look out over the lake and enjoy the amazing stars! Thanks for a great trip!

Beautiful home nestled in the woods

Beautiful house nestled in the woods fully stocked with everything you need. Listing is a bit misleading. It is not located on the lake and more of a walk than we expected. But overall, we loved our stay here. Everything was very clean, and the beds were very comfy.

Beautiful Place

We stayed here with a group of 8 adult friends. The place is so great! We enjoyed every morning having coffee on the huge deck. Ursula was so informative and helped with any questions we had. The house is stocked with EVERTHING you would need, we way over packed. One of the greatest parts, every single bedroom had a full bathroom either in it or right outside the door . Such a huge plus!

Our family stayed here for a long weekend. We had a wonderful time, there were 10 of us staying at the cabin, my nephew and 2 sons stayed in the loft and the other married couples all had their own bedroom. It never felt crowded, it really helped to have 4 bathrooms. The weather was very warm, we rented a pontoon and spent a lot of time in the water, which is just across the road. The cabin is beautiful and is in excellent condition. We're already talking about reserving for next year. The hosts were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend it. Jan S.

Memorable Thanksgiving

We celebrated with our family at this gorgeous cabin for Thanksgiving. It was incredibly beautiful and we had all that we needed to pull off an amazing meal for the holiday. Ursula, the owner, could not have been more accomodating with us throughout renting her property. It truly felt like she was part of the family who was sharing her beautiful cabin with us. Furthermore, she set out her own huge turkey platter, a baster, a meat thermometer and a beautiful bottle of wine when we arrived. Now that is outstanding and very thoughtful service! We will highly recommend this cabin to stay at. We all said, if you wanted a more quiet and cozy home away from home near Wisconsin Dells, this is the perfect place to rent!
