「We had to postpone our trip due to a COVID case, and the owner was extremely helpful and flexible with helping us get rebooked. We also had some questions throughout the stay and communication was always prompt and friendly. The itself property was very clean, cozy, and well heated (we went in November). 「Have stayed at cottage 3 times now to attend Bancroft Curling Bonspiel. Perfect location and accommodation for the 4 of us, each getting our own bedroom. All aspects of accommodation met our needs as it is a cozy comfortable place and the host Jesse was very easy to communicate with and answer any questions we had. Will definitely stay here again.」

「Great location Perfect spot for us as we spent our days here geocaching in the area. Everything is as advertised. Super comfy and cozy. Not a lot of restaurants in the area so we planned to eat in and the kitchen had everything we needed. Including a dishwasher - yay!! Clean and well equipped. Nice and quiet. FYI - be sure to bring your own paper products. No paper towels or tissues and 1 roll of TP for a 3 night stay. We would come back to this location. 」

「Me, my siblings and friends had a great stay in this cottage for 4 nights and definitely had a blast. The cottage has all the equipments you need for a comfortable stay. They also provided firewoods for bonfires right beside the lake. Also, the lake has very clean water good for both swimming and fishing. Extra ameneties like paddle boat, kayaks, stand up board and water vests. The location is great for a quiet getaway and also provides great privacy.」

「We spent a fall weekend with our 8-year-old and dogs. We all had a great time. The property is exactly as described. We spent much of our time on the river and the fire pit at the edge of the river was wonderful. Comfortable home with everything you need. It was great to have shopping amenities 8 minutes away. Overall perfect for what we wanted and we'd be happy to return.」

「Bill was a very good host, helpful and interesting but not intrusive in any way so our stay was very peaceful in a green setting. The accommodation is very well equipped and the food provisions for breakfast excellent and including local products. Visitors have to be aware that the nearest town of several, Madoc, is 25km away but has all one could wish. 」

「Great accommodations for our small family and dog as we explored Hastings County. Lots of fun in, on, and and out of the water. Jason and Susie were gracious hosts and kindly shared their knowledge the Weslemkoon area to help us get the most out of our visit. Looking forward to seeing the Eco Retreat continue to grow!」

「The perfect place for a cottage getaway. Wonderful venue for winter activities, cloae to sledding, snowmobiling, skating. Hottub was a wonderful experience under the stars after a cold day. Clean, well stocked, comfy and good room for our family of 4. Hosts went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. If I could give this 6 stars, absolutely would. Will definitely be booking for the summer!」

「My wife and I (and 17 year old son) spent three wonderful days at this 'Rustic' cabin. The cabin was clean, quaint and exactly what one would expect from a 'rustic' cabin experience. The hosts Jason & Suzie were magnificent and went out of their way to ensure our trip was memorable. A very nice balance between relaxing on the property and adventures on the beautiful Westlemkoon Lake. We had a great time and look forward to returning.」

「The only issue is the single washroom located at the 2nd floor. It would have been better if there is a powder room or another washroom at the main floor.Also, the vanity sink at the washroom is always clogging. But over all the place is good.」
