"When we finally worked out where the house was on this desolate property, we were greeted by a dilapidated boxing bag and home gym on the balcony. Inside we discovered a filthy kitchen, glassware and cooking utensils, stained cushions, carpets, chairs and couch, horrendously dirty inside windows, a desolate deck, dismal firepit area, and a creepy caravan in the bushes. "We travelled for a bit of a break from city life and the location was great. Very close to town, only a few hours from Sydney. There's a very nice pub in town that we visited for lunch. There is a second pub that has a hatted chef, but we didn't have time to visit.The accommodation is clean and beautifully presented and maintained - and the hosts are lovely. We were well stocked with kitchen items so we could make meals. There is also a barbecue which we used a fair bit. The intent of the stay was really just to relax, read, and soak in the surroundings and this property was perfect (and very well priced given the high season). Surrounded by very friendly sheep who love a good pat and stunning vistas, this break was exactly what we needed! There's a quaint history of the property that Paul filled us in on and we were also able to feed some lambs with Paul and Linda. Highly recommend!"
