“This was a very comfortable attractive home with thoughtful details such as creamer in the fridge, robes and whimsical decor. The little town was quaint and quiet and if we’d arrived a week later, more businesses would’ve been open for the summer season. The host was easy to communicate with and entry was easy too. Nice laundry room with detergent. Park across the street for kids and close access to Katy Trail. More wineries in the area than the town website even advertises! Nicely stocked……

“The property had a beautiful setting. House was very clean and what was on the description. Gravel getting there not bad glad it hadn't rained anymore than it had. For me it was challenging communication as it came from host. VRBO, Expedia do trying to remember where I found what.”

“Wonderful home right on the Katy trail. We loved our stay, the house was a great location for a few days of biking. Being able to come home and use the hot tub was a huge plus. We loved Phillys pizza and Cori twins bar great people and atmosphere. We have rented many homes/condos in the past years, but I do have to say the extras this house provided topped them all. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Would and will recommend.”

“Small farm town feel. Nice job renovating the location. If you’re looking at cooking or doing in the kitchen, they have everything you need there. Lighting in the bedroom throughout the night. It is pretty light with the street lights as there are no shades so if your used to sleeping in dark rooms that will not happen here. Very historic building we were not there very much other than to just sleep.”

“Hosts were great, helpful and responsive. The Home is amazingly historic and so certainly has its limits, but it should not mean it cannot be warm and comfortable with decor and furnishings. There is no HVAC upstairs so space heaters were fussy to maintain and keep on with timers, etc. There is only two lamps in the home, so all rooms rely on ceiling fan lights - which are effective but do not allow a more relaxed evening or early morning atmosphere. Again, very cool house but just think……

“Fantastic stay for people with dogs! The owner was very accommodating and did everything she could to make us feel comfortable We did not realize when we booked it that it was underneath the home on the first floor, but we really didn’t mind We’ve never used a before but we found this to be a great alternative and will look into them in the future The owner provides a K cup coffee machine, along with various coffee and teas . “Great place with an actual garage guests can use. Very quiet, end unit. Had some issues getting in and then locking up but management was able to get it corrected. Smoke Arlan went off at night, of course, but I was able to get it disconnected. Alerted management. Management was available 24/7.”

“Lots of sleeping room and clean. Very conveniently located; close to interstate 70 which appears to be the main interstate throughout the St Louis area.”
