「The location was excellent. I needed somewhere to break my journey walking along the towpath of the Trent-Mersey canal, and this motel is only a mile north of the canal, at the midway point between the Anderton Boat Lift and the end of the canal at Preston Brook. I don't think I would have been able to complete the walk without its being where it is. Facilities were good (like an Extended Stay property, with a kitchen; bed was comfortable; convenience shop nearby was a bonus. 」

「Lovely location tucked away in a rural cul de sac but easy access to major roads and Airport. I opted for the smaller double room which was compact but comfortable. The owners/staff were all excellent and very helpful. The breakfast buffet, while a little expensive, was superb and had everything you could want, all at a high quality. The only downside (nothing to do with the accommodation itself) was not rely on the pub next door - I stayed on a Tuesday and the pub kitchen was closed early and...

「Well presented within walking distance of town centre, pub's and restaurants. Anne/Dave 😆(building manager) was lovely, she worked hard to keep the place so clean and nothing was a problem if you asked 😉 stairs were challenging to the top floor but we managed and wi-fi was a bit sketchy (none at all in our room) hopefully it will be sorted by the owner. All in all a lovely place to stay ♥️」

「A very good stay, the room was clean and spacious, the bathroom was clean and had natural ventilation, the bed was comfortable. The guest house was close to the centre of Sale and was easy to get to the bars and restaurants. We would recommend staying there and if we come back to Sale we would stay here again」

「Accommodation at The Bowling Green is excellent. There are several rooms in a self contained annex right next to the pub. The rooms are of a very high standard and guests have access to a continental breakfast and a mini fridge in the room. We have stayed here many times and have always been impressed. Staff are lovely and always happy to help. Highly recommended. 」

「Basic but clean. Towels provided were rather tatty. Convenient for walking to Coop Live. Also on bus route into city centre. Staff friendly. 」

「Our stay was very comfortable and it was a great location for our stopover between Scotland and Devon. The host was very efficient, friendly and accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the en suite bathroom which had a sensor light. This made any night time toilet trips impossible to make without waking someone up with the light and extractor fan. The shower pressure was very weak & the sink was tiny. All completely clean and functional...
