Superbe logement au coeur du paradis!

Nous sommes ravis de la semaine que nous avons passé au Gîte de la Mélissière. La propriété est superbe et entretenue avec soin, avec de nombreux espaces pour les enfants. Le gîte est parfaitement entretenu, nous y avons été tres bien!

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful gite. Brigitte and Lionel were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The gite itself and grounds are beautifully maintained - we felt super relaxed when we left having spent the week swimming, lying in hammocks and exploring the nature in the garden. Beautiful and peaceful

Very pretty cottage, both inside and outside. Lovely grounds, very relaxing and peaceful. Brigitte and Lionel made us feel very welcome and made sure everything was catered for. Pool very nice and we enjoyed using the table tennis / games area in the adjoining barn. Good location for visiting surrounding attractions. Hope to return in the future!

Wonderful gite

An absolutely beautiful gite with super grounds and swimming pool. The whole place was so relaxing and peaceful, and the courtyard table for meals was gorgeous. Owners were so friendly and we enjoyed meeting them.

Semaine entre amis

Agréable séjour dans le Gîte de Margot ou tout le nécessaire est a disposition. Propriétaires charmants, discrets et disponibles. Plusieurs activités possibles autour de la belle et grande piscine qui a fait le bonheur des enfants. Le gîte est éloigné (Xaintray n'est qu'un très petit village), mais il garantit ainsi beaucoup de tranquilité. Nous étions 9 et ce n'était pas un problème. Le marais Poitevin se trouve à 1/2 heure du gîte.

Superbe et grand domaine regroupant un gîte et des chambres d'hôte. Le gîte est charmant, fonctionnel et spacieux, les propriétaires accueillants et disponibles. Nombreuses activités possible : Piscine, ping-pong, fléchettes, pétanque... C'était parfait...

Superbe!!

Tout était parfait : l'accueil, la maison Margot avec une mention spéciale pour la très jolie décoration et les beaux tableaux, on se sent tellement bien à l'intérieur. Le jardin est immense et très bien entretenu avec des jeux pour enfants, une table de ping pong mais également des espaces de repos (hamacs et transats), et enfin la piscine au top ! Nous avons séjourné avec 6 enfants âgés de 4 ans à 9 ans et tout le monde gardera de très bons souvenirs! Merci encore à Brigitte et Lionel ! Nous recommandons les yeux fermés. Fantine et Assiatou

Le calme de la campagne

Super week-end

Endroit magnifique, parfait pour se ressourcer dans un cadre calme, bucolique, champêtre. Nous etions en famille. 4 adultes et 5 enfants dont 3 ados, et tout le monde a été ravis. Table de ping pong, possibilité de jouer au ballon, balançoire .... 1h15 de la Rochelle et 55mn du futuroscope, et les marais poitevins à proximité également. Les propriétaires sont très gentils, ils ont même laissé des chocolats de Pâques, les enfants étaient ravis.

Erholung pur

Direkt nach einem warmen herzlichen Empfang und Bezug des liebevoll sanierten und dekorierten Ferienhauses, konnte die Entspannung und Erholung beginnen. Der schöne und kindersichere Pool und das traumhafte Grundstück mit vielen weiteren Möglichkeiten ergänzten gelungen das Freizeitangebot. Die beiden Vermieter sind ausgesprochen herzlich und hilfsbereit bei allen Fragen. Wir haben uns selten so gut erholt wie in Xaintray und Brigitte und Lionel. Merci beaucoup pour tous !!

A little piece of heaven

Rural rustic country forest bathing kind of place. Fantastic house with lots of room lots of equipment, everything you'd need and more, generous sized rooms. An ideal place to relax and unwind. It felt so safe. The swimming pool was out of this world. There is a beautiful vast walled garden with a swimming pool, ping pong table, bicycles, hammocks, a kids swing set, a sand pit, a dolls House and kids toys. Plenty of outdoor space well off of the road and very safe. The hosts, Brigitte and Lionel are exceptional, calling to us on a number of occasions with home baked goods. So warm, so friendly, so helpful. We still miss the place, we spent a wonderful time there, and we can't wait to go back. 5 minutes away from Super U by car, and local market every Saturday in village. Easy access to the main intercity road which links Niort (30 mins), Parthenay (30 mins), La Rochelle (50 mins) and Nantes (2hr). Lots of interesting medieval sites to visit such as castles, châteaus, bourgs and churches. We would highly recommend this rural oasis to all ages. Thank you very much for the use of your facilities, for your hospitality, and for the wonderful time we spent there which we will not forget
