"Wonderful hotel set in an ancient mansion. Staff were helpful and friendly and focused on improving the guest experience. Wonderful breakfast whether you ordered Western or Chinese. We ate the special set menu dinner. Definitely the best restaurant in Pingyao. Staff had a proficient level of English which enabled us to have a better experience visiting the historical sights in the walled city. Our two night stay was a five star experience."

"Very unique experience, located in the heart of the ancient city.
Breakfast was not huge but very tasty and accommodated a few things for us.
The staff was super friendly and some of them spoke good English.
They even gave us a little present before leaving."
